As we get closer to July, just letting y'all know that I do have a few of the TML characters available to attack for artfight! You can find my profile here! I will be out of the country for the first week of the month, but I definitely plan to participate this year!
Also, as a brief note, I know it's been a while since this series has been updated. I've been working on some other projects, and I also just live the busy life of a graduate student. But this project is far from abandoned. I'm hoping to jump back into the swing of it soon, once I get back from my study abroad. Thank you all for being here <3 my ask box is always open for questions and requests!

Not sure if this was explained already, but for the links that come from sequels of games, are they the same link but just from the future, or are they completely different?
They're completely different! I am taking Nintendo's timeline and stretching it as far as it will go, so the events of each game, including the sequels, take place much further down the timeline. Each game has a new hero (or heroes), rather than continuations of the same hero's story.
The only exception to the timeline stretch is the oracle games. Those two happen congruently in the timeline, so the two heroes are doing their own thing in Holodrum and Labrynna at the same time as each other, and eventually meet prior to the start of this AU when they team up to fight Ganon at the end of their journeys.

Introducing: Four
Based on the purple Link from the original Four Swords Game, Four is the odd one out of their brothers. Not bothering to play along with the social games of the court, he has earned a reputation of disrespect among the nobles, and is frequently the subject of their gossip. This disregard for the norm leads to Four being the brother with the biggest ideas, and most willing to take action, but they don't always consider the consequences of their plans.

Introducing: Three
Three is based on the Blue Link from the original Four Swords game. As the third eldest, he has been overlooked most of his life, and doesn’t expect much from himself. He is willing to follow along with his brothers and their schemes, but his own desires extend only to the simplicities life has to offer. Three knows well the burdens their upbringing has placed on them all, and hopes to one day find peace for his brothers far away from the rigidity and limitations of noble life.

Two’s design is based on the Red Link from the original Four Swords game. As the second oldest, he has always looked after his younger brothers, but following the events of their adventure, he’s been keeping an eye on One as well. Two has an adeptness for magic and strategy, though this potential goes partially unrecognized by himself as he continues to place his brothers before himself.

Introducing: One
One is based on the Green Link from the original Four Swords game. He is the eldest of the set of quadruplets, and while he enjoyed an upbringing of status and class, his adventure antagonized the rift between himself and his brothers, forcing him to change his perspective. With this new understanding, he is seeking to make amends to his brothers, even if the circumstances of their upbringing were equally out of his control.
