Even if they confirmed he's unintentionally autistic, here's an analysis on every single way Clay Moorington is autistic!

starting with the obvious stuff, he's got an attachment to the knights code. He tends to push the code at people, seemingly as if he's unaware that he can't force people to be interested in the same things as him, he's seen getting upset because Merlok has to tell him that he can't push the logic of the knights code onto others without them asking.

Scheduling and routine are a noticeable thing! He has a tight schedule, seemingly the same one that he follows every single day. This is again visible in the knights code, and even in the power of Merlok when he mentions his sleep schedule consists of 2 hours every night, and with insomnia being pretty associated with autism, it makes sense.

The ending to the knights code, when Clay completely shuts down when his book was destroyed. (Apparently he was roughly outside for 7-ish hours if I remember correctly) Which makes sense, the one thing he's attached to has just blown up.. and he can't seem to grasp onto the fact he doesn't have it anymore.

Again the knights code/being a knight in general, something he's grown up with and it seems to have a obviously been that impact on him as he graduated. He fixates on small things that the people around him might not see as something even necessary. (Hell he's even knowledgeable about art, as seen in s3 ep7).

I am normal about him.. and I'm sure, intentional or not.. he's an interesting character. The way people can see themselves in him because of these traits that he exhibits, its interesting, and I love him. Regardless again, he's just a guy..

Monstrox isn't only abusive, he's incredibly obsessive over his victim. (I'm back with the analysis posts, so here we go!)

Obviously, Monstrox is abusive towards Jestro.. it's a well known statement. But with how s5 was going to happen, Monstrox is also obsessive over Jestro to some degree.. especially with Monstrox making a "robo-jestro" solely because he missed having power over his victim.

Yes, Monstrox is abusive.. electrocuting somebody for power over them, telling them they only need to trust you is abuse! Monstrox was watching Jestro since he was a teenager! , which probably makes this 10x more disgusting, because he was actively watching an insecure teenage boy!

Monstrox likes having power over people, which is why it was so easy for him to manipulate Jestro at all. It's why he constantly had power over Jestro, because Jestro didn't fight back and COULDN'T when he was actively being watched by him.

This is why Jestro becoming a knight is so important, because he now has a support system that can help him fight off somebody who emotionally and physically abused him. He actually has power over himself rather then somebody having control over him, and that's what matters.

Monstrox took control of Jestro the second for the same reason I'm even making this analysis at all, he's possessive of his victims and wants the power and control over them. Jestro finally had a somewhat stable life, but the reality of it all is that he's not going to escape his abuser completely, regardless of what happens.

^ it's obvious Monstrox is obsessive, and the thing in s5 with Monstrox "missing" his abusive relationship with Jestro is basically everything that shows obvious obsession, a need for power and how abusive Monstrox really is.

He’s so nonchalant about possessing Jestro in s3 “he’s not forcibly taking control of another persons mind he’s just getting things back to the way they should be.” He doesn’t just want control over him he feels entitled to it

Losing that control in s5 is a massive blow to his ego. I need more content of this loser frothing at the mouth because his favourite pawn is untouchable now

Rougher sketch, I like to think these 3 spent a lot of their school breaks together. Macy is glad to have anything to distract her from having to go back to princess stuff, Clay’s already in the area (I don’t know where Merlock lives but I’m assuming he can’t leave his library full of evil books unattended for long) and Jestro had nothing better to do (Clay invited him and Macy kinda just went along with it)

So yeah a lot of slipping away from whatever guards got assigned to watch them and wandering around the city
