PROFESSOR PETE used to teach the children of Toontown, a kind soul residing in the Toontown Schoolhouse.

But since the invasion, there have been no children to teach. The world is dangerous, and he has no means to fight. Instead, what he brings is knowledge, compassion, and a little bit of comfort. While he worries his ability to reignite the others isn't enough, they know they would protect him even if he was right.

JULIUS WHEEZER is a difficult nut to crack. Between his odd speech patterns and dramatic flair, only one toon knows how much of him is genuine, his own cousin.

Everyone else, on the other hand, sees him as a bombastic actor, unable to tell between his roles on the stage and his actions in reality. He treats life like a story, but luckily the goal he's aiming for is a triumph over odds rather than an unavoidable tragedy. His attention grabbing is perfect for keeping cogs distracted, but whatever you do, don't mention the scars he gets from those.

Once a simple glue maker, STICKY LOU quickly learned to weaponize his craft. His store being in stationed in Toontown Central did him no favors, right next to the heart of the invasion.

While he stayed safe, something in him died when he searched Daisy Gardens. Despite that, he does everything he can to disrupt the cogs, knowing he can't do much in the way of attacking.

Bad luck has followed BARNACLE BESSIE for her entire life. Having grown up as a sailor, she grew used to uncertain times.

She and her family returned to Toontown to watch the election, caught in the crossfire of the invasion. Using her knowledge of drop gags to protect herself, she quickly realized she was alone. She joined Flippy's cause soon after, trying to keep herself happy... for all of them.

In a nicer world, MOE ZART would have been a world class composer and conductor, a talent over music like no other.

But alas, this is not that world. Instead, his musical prowess is weaponized, using powerful sound gags against any cogs in his way. While confident, the loss of his instruments has made him distant, though he never lost his warmth.

LIL OLDMAN was once a mysterious toon, wise in the Arcane and obtuse in his words. He took on many apprentices, whom he caused little other than strife and annoyance as he forced them to learn discomfort tolerance.

With the invasion, he has given up his confusing ways, as the one thing more important than a lesson is survival. His magic is weak, his eyesight even weaker, but he still does all he can with what remains of his spells and his affinity for lure. But with his age, how much longer will he really last..?

CLERK CLARA used to be the face of Gag Shops, providing laughs and treats for toons all over Toontown.

With the invasion, she used her knowledge on what made the jokes funny to clear a path for survivors, hiding toons in her shop. While it wasn't many, the fact that it wasn't zero made her feel accomplished. With those toons safe, she joined Flippy in his fight against the cogs, putting her mastery of trap gags to good use.

Flippy Doggenbottom is the leader and founder of the Toon Force; a small, ragtag group of toons doing everything they can to stop the cogs.

Though he used to have wide eyes and big dreams, being unable to save his friend's life during the election did a number on his psyche, now reserved and cautious. Despite his prowess with throw gags, as demonstrated by his defeat of several cogs during the first invasion, he focuses on toon-up— hoping to right his wrongs and protect every toon he can.

Overview

In a timeline doomed from the start, eight toons fight against the impossible.

On Election Day, colloquially known as Doomsday, the cogs first invaded. They were ruthless, cruel, and lethal. They were happy about the crowd that witnessed Slappy's death, the ensuing panic, and the eventual takeover. Even if the cogs lost some of their number, the toons learned one thing, to fear cogs.

The loser of the election was forced to flee by Dr Surlee, who would later return to the overtaken Toontown Central to attempt to continue his research. Flippy, on the other hand, would search for survivors, finding seven toons willing to assist him in trying to take Toontown back from the clutches of the cogs.

They will try. And they will fail. But they will make an impact on the world.
