Hello! I am finally making a furby discord!

You can share furby pictures, art, chat with other furby enthusiasts, and much more! There is a channel where you can ask for help with customization or any other processes involved with furby collection! We have roles for colors based on classic furby skins such as Juicy Grape and Banana Skin. 

When you first join you will have to make an intro before you are given a role that will allow you to view the rest of the server. This is just a precaution to avoid trolls.

Anyone can join, there are no age restrictions! We just ask that you agree to the following set of rules:

Hey so I'm a very new tentative member of the furby fandom/community (over the last couple days I have started getting obsessed lol) and everybody I've seen on tumblr seems really chill and fun. I'm just wondering if there are things I should know beforehand about furbies, like terms and general knowledge and stuff? like are there some things that one should avoid or not do? how does one join this fandom exactly? idk this might seem dumb I'm just an anxious person so I wanted to ask.

This isn’t dumb at all, I understand completely!

Most of the furby community customizes/mods their furbies, so a lot of content you see will be related to that. I haven’t come across any terms here that are just in this community though. (Also, we have a tag for customization tutorials if you want to look into it.)

People might also refer to furbies by the year that that specific line came out. That usually refers to the these 3: 1998, 2005, and 2012. Also, you may see Long Furby referenced, which is when someone customizes a furby to have a super long body. There are also some other types such as baby furbies, purbies, etc.

Common tags to check out for furbies are things such like furblr, furby, safe furby, all furby, custom furby, etc. The community is one of the nicest communities on tumblr, so you should have a good time!
