Chari's Backstory (Hollow Knight oc)

I could have made it all a wall of text but books with pictures are more fun yknow

I might end up it changing a litte bit, but so far I'm pretty satisfied with it

Also, English is not my first language, and I suck at properly structuring phrases.

Ok fun fact there's 2 different bugs that get called a golden tortoise beetle and I named Chari after Charidotella sexpunctata but he looks more like the other one that is called a Aspidimorpha sanctaectuid. I named him after the wrong one😭😭😭

This is Lambulo, a non fandom oc. He is made of magic, which is why he looks so abstract. There's a lot of lore for this.

A drawing of an important part of Chari's backstory. I will briefly explain wtf is going on

Chari used to live in a far away kingdom. It was made of a bunch of giant trees with buildings inside. The whole place ended up burning down in a huge fire. Warriors were told they couldn't fight back and had to evacuate like everyone else. When he evacuated the city, he realized his sister was still inside so he ran back in to save her, despise being terrified of death. He also decided to save as many people as he could. He wasn't able to save the whole neighborhood because the fire was getting really bad. He ended up fainting from the smoke and the stress. The people he saved dragged him out of here.

The specific moment in this drawing is when a burning wood plank fell on him and burned half of his body.

There's a lot of important details missing but I wanna explain the entire lore in a dedicated post.

Btw I didn't forget his elytras, they're detachable and he took them off to be able to slip through.

Also the drawing was a test, I used his 3d model as a reference (I usually don't use references i'm a raw dogger🔥🔥) and practiced drawing fire.

Chari was exploring Hallownest, then a thief stole his weapon and proceeded to attack him with it, very disrespectful.

i will explain these OCs lore soon.

This takes place years after the infection ended.
