February 2019 Announcements Recap
Over the past month, we announced a lot of games. Our upcoming year is looking really exciting - we haven’t even announced everything yet!
Since we announced so many projects, however, we know that some may have slipped through the cracks, so we wanted to put all of the announcements in one place. We also previewed our upcoming storefront earlier this month, Hat Rack, which we’ll put pictures of at the end of the post.
So without further adieu, here were our announcements (in chronological order):
The Seven Wonders of St. Clementine - (Developer: Imagine Fantasia)
What starts with a simple rumor about the supposed mysterious lore of their school becomes an enthralling mystery to the students of St. Clementine. What dark secrets will they find, or will they be able to survive?

Rainbow Dreams - (Developer: Epic Works)
Join Luka Sanguis, a college student unwittingly married to a Goddess, as he uncovers the mysteries of the world around him in this slice of life/comedy visual novel. Living a double life, Luka tangles with both his personal troubles as well as his role in saving the world from Daemons.

The Sanctum - (Developer: La Cucaracha Studios)
After inheriting a small fortune, you're thrust head first into the seedy underbelly of the "service" industry. Between daggers of elves and clubs of orcs, will you survive or will you fall to vices?
The Sanctum is a hybrid visual novel/trainer simulator with management elements.
My Days with the Demoness - (Developer: Blissful Works)
This visual novel follows a NEET mechanic who one day creates a portal which brings the demon lord's daughter to earth; she decides to stay with him to improve his "miserable life". Will she be successful?
Girls & Dungeons 2 - (Developer: Nebelsoft/Nebelstern)
Girls and Dungeons 2 is a sequel the popular retro, ecchi JRPG Girls & Dungeons. Here are some screenshots below:
Jaeger Der Anderwelt - (Developer: Schneeritter Games)
A Grand Strategy Total War/Warhammer-inspired game with a spanning campaign, a dynamic story, and Shadowrun-inspired RPG elements. Will you rise up to the challenge of the Gods? And who will you meet along the way?
Synergia - (Developer: Radi Art)
Synergia is a yuri thriller that takes place in a cyberpunk future, wrapped up in a beautifully unique, vibrant neon aesthetic. At the end of the world, sometimes love is the ultimate crime.
We’re especially excited about this title - it features unique aesthetic identity helps mold a fascinating, immersive world for players to get lost in. Alongside a breathtaking amount of content (near 100 backgrounds and CGs, and 20+ characters), you'll want to stay tuned for this one!
Synergia has a incredible and vivid soundtrack, composed by one of the composers of Katawa Shoujo, Aoiichinisan. In order introduce the world and music of Synergia to you while we count down to the game’s release, we’ll be periodically releasing special DATA LOGS, the first of which can be seen below:

Forest Guardian - (Developer: Tsukiware)
This yuri visual novel follows a traveling merchant, desperate to make it to the Gilded Port before winter, who takes a detour through a forbidden forest only to find herself lost. There, lost in the deep brush of the forests, she meets the mysterious guardian of the woods.
偽物 | Imitation - (Developer: Team Zimno)
From the developers of Big Dipper comes an announcement for an upcoming visual novel.
High school - the "golden time". A time for blossoming relationships, new experiences, and...murder?

Mayu Ueda the studio programmer. She is a quiet woman that mostly keeps to herself unless your name is Lissa. She is proving to be best girl and that is not because the person writing this is SUPER biased. If you are looking for a cute yet intense love affair, Mayu is for you.
Next stretch goal…
Dakimakura Poll Results: We received 41 responses total–which is actually more than we expected. Thank you so much!
21 of you said you’d pledge for the dakimakura cover if it was a reward. 10 of you would prefer Mayu’s design, 6 would prefer Alexis, 2 would prefer Lissa, and 3 didn’t care either way. So, we’ve decided to go ahead with adding a Mayu dakimakura design for the $11,500 goal.
In addition to the standard dakimakura add-on, we’ll also be adding a mini-dakimakura keychain add-on. It’s literally a mini body pillow with a strap attached, so you can attach it to a bag or hang it elsewhere. The price will be $12 for Canada and $15 internationally, available only to “Artist” tier and above. Also, “Spammer” and “Alexis’ Favorite Person” tiers will get the keychain for free if the goal is achieved.

We’re 2 weeks in! What a fortnight, we have been making such great headway and steaming through our goals. Now we only have one left before we reveal the next set of stretch goals.

Alexis Ainsworth the studio artist. There’s never a dull moment with Alexis around. Her perfect day would be doing what she wants when she wants especially if she can drag you along for the ride. Have an… unexpectantly exuberant evening!
Next stretch goal…
Our next goal is $10,000, which will allow us to compose a vocal theme song, as well as create an accompanying opening video that will play upon booting up the game.
Although we already have a theme for the song in mind, we haven’t decided which language the lyrics will be in yet… so we may hold a vote on that if we meet the goal. Definitely let us know your thoughts!

Our next goal is English voice acting at $8,000 CAD. Plus, Backers at the “Artist” tier and above will also receive a free random chibi sticker with their order. This is our largest leap so far, but we can definitely do it!
Let the records state that we did not cast the roles before the campaign since we didn’t want to disappoint any VAs if our total ended up nowhere near the goal. However, we’ve certainly been discussing potential actresses behind the scenes, and we’ll be reaching out to them very soon to see if we can’t whet your (or, at least those of you who’d play with the voices turned on) appetites a little. Our Lovely Escape - Kickstarter Announcement
Reine Works and @tophatstudios are happy to announce that Our Lovely Escape will launch its Kickstarter campaign on November 6!

Our dungeon-crawler/visual novel hybrid “Devious” is now out on Steam, with a discount of 10% for the next week.

The game can be played as dungeon crawler and visual novel, with the ability to turn off each “mode” of gameplay to experience the game as you want to. There are 4 different characters in game, each with their own unique playstyle and story, totaling 20-30+ hours of gameplay altogether.
