History & Origin
The ST19's story begins with the Swiss Venus 175 movement. In 1961, the Tianjin Watch Factory (Sea-Gull's predecessor) bought its machinery and blueprints. This acquisition was driven by "Project 304," a Chinese military initiative to create a chronograph for the People's Liberation Army Air Force.
In 2002, Sea-Gull redeveloped this legacy into the ST19, most famously powering the Sea-Gull 1963 reissue.
