Two is a Party

The café was busy like always and Iluka had an early morning getting ready for the day. It took a lot of time to prepare the kitchen and the tables before the people started to flow in, especially when a certain someone decided to sleep in every single day - or just about.
Within a matter of moments of taking out the first couple of dishes of the day, her sister had finally decided to come downstairs. I thought the noise would have brought her down sooner. She thought, hands on her hips as Siluka approached.
“A little past opening.”
She sassed. There was no doubt she loved her sister, but sometimes her laid back attitude annoyed her. And although she thinks that, a plate was already placed on the island for the younger of the two for breakfast. Iluka couldn’t help but care for her younger sister and truthfully, enjoyed that her personality was the exact opposite of her own. They made for quite the duo when they were together.
“Did you sleep well?”

Sitting at the table, already starting to dive into the food laid out for her. A little past opening? Then Siluka could’ve slept an or so longer... but it was too late now. Dipping out of the daze of her thoughts, Siluka focused on the question laid before her. Did she sleep well? “I think so.” Between bites, she began to explain. “I guess I’m a bit nervous sleeping here still.” Another bite of fruit. “Things are bigger, different.” A small sip of water. “And the sun rises so early..” The last sentence was said with a groan. Sleeping in was Siluka’s favorite hobby. Well, was. Now with the cafe being below her, it was hard to do so. But at least Iluka stopped trying to wake her up to walk to the cafe, like before.
Glancing around her, Siluka noticed a few new faces. A mixture of colors blurred past as she glanced between the customers. “It seems we’re popular.” she murmured, sounding slightly surprised.
