   Wait, what the heck is he standing around for? It’s been so long (at least, it feels like it). His feet carry him towards Takane, though he underestimates his speed and winds up nearly body slamming her before he can come to a complete halt.

           { ☼ } ⇢ Quiet hums are heard from the brunette as she sits across from the elder, grin on her lips as she turns a page of the book she was reading. Suddenly, Ayano giggles, and it can be assumed she’s found something in the text amusing, but then she looks up, practically beaming at the female on the other side of the table. 

    ❝ You know, sitting here like this kind of reminds me of our school days! ❞ She pauses, head tilting. “Oh, but I think it was a lot louder then,” she adds in, another chime of tinkling laughter passing through her curved lips.

         Quiet beeps and whistles could be heard from the brunette's side, eyes darting over the screen of her video game while her fingers rhythmically danced across the keys. The feelings of eyes on her was the only thing that prompted her to look up from her game, eyebrow quirked at Ayano's sudden beam.

         Takane's own laugh now echoed her companion, reminiscing on the old days during school before the happiness ended abruptly. It's not that she missed them too much- it was embarrassing to think about how she treated everyone. "Yeah, you're right... Maybe it's because Shintaro isn't here for me to bully."
