paperbacknote rebinds used paper back book covers and turns them into notebooks.
Every paperbacknote notebook is made with an original cover from a used paper back novel culled from thrift shops, garage sales, and boxes in basements and attics. At first glance, these notebooks appear as though they are real paper back novels. Only when you open them up do you discover the true secret inside. They are blank! At least until you fill them with your own thoughts, stories, pictures, and words.
A perfect gift for an aspiring writer, note taker, list maker, journal writer, or anyone who wants to keep their notes under cover.

Anita Sikma
Born in Regina, Saskatchewan in 1980, Anita Sikma was raised in a home which instilled her future fixation on formal contrast. From her maternal, Catholic-Italian side, Sikma became responsive to jewelry as a dazzling, deeply symbolic adornment; but with her father a mechanic, Sikma apprenticed in the garage, where she discovered the incidental glamour of machines. Upon moving to Vancouver, British Columbia, and receiving her Diploma in Jewelry Art & Design from Vancouver Community College, Sikma founded a practice to express her manifold obsessions in singular, wearable jewelry.

AW by Andrea Wong is a collection of handmade accessories that prides itself on using reclaimed materials whenever possible. Using re-purposed materials allows us to re-represent the beauty of traditional textiles and comfortably worn leather.
AW by Andrea Wong is inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest coast. Each item is handcrafted by Andrea Wong and her team in her Vancouver studio. Andrea brings with her over 10 years of design experience, using both modern and old world sewing techniques. She can be found around BC and on her travels sourcing authentically traditional vintage textiles and leathers to be re-purposed for her next collection. When she can’t find her materials reclaimed, she goes to authentic sources. For example, all the wax canvas used in AW bags are imported from an American family-run mill that has been manufacturing since 1838. The rock climbing ropes featured in AW drawstring backpacks are Swiss-made.
When it comes to the product, detail is everything to us.

Established in 2005 by Jo Cook, Perro Verlag is an idea that grew out of collaborative drawing sessions, comics exhibitions and barbecues at Lucky’s Comics in Vancouver. Perro Verlag’s roots go back to the energy of 1970s artist’s mimeo magazines in which the page became an alternative exhibition space for artists to work in.
