forgive me twenty one pilots i was not aware of your rich lore and thought you were just a band. i didnt know you’ve been creating a decade-long storyline and now im spiraling about the Torchbearer being stuck in a cycle of never being able to save his friend and Clancy always doomed to become what he hates most.

why does NO ONE ever talk about hometown. that is easily one of the most well-produced songs off of blurryface, and definitely the most timeless-sounding imo, and i NEVER see people talking about it??? where is the love for hometown ?????

A headcanon I love that I wish was more popular is mute Torchbearer. I like to think the Banditos have their own sign language to communicate with him, and Torch teaches Clancy whenever he can in his tent

This is random but I feel the need to share it… I can’t begin to even explain the swelling my heart feels when I see Twenty One Pilots. To be alive at the same time as two such beautiful minds. Im not trying to be para social or sound like it — but anytime I see Josh or Tyler I feel very proud. Maybe it’s knowing how Tyler felt when he was 15 writing songs in his basement about feelings and things I have also felt— to now seeing him singing about those same things on a big stage knowing even though he still struggles he made it through the darkest times. Seeing Josh go from being nervous and shy to answering more questions in interviews and now not only singing on an album but singing ‘Drag Path’ along Tyler at an award show (I’ve always loved his voice & I sobbed at the live performance)! Both of them now husbands and dads because they found their people. Them saving each other inherently saved me & I’m sure a lot of us— in this short life we live I think those are beautiful and great things to accomplish. It not only makes me proud but it gives me hope. If two boys from a small town fighting their own demons can make it huge— I can build the life I want because I’m still here.
