It's easy to get drowned in all the truths I never spoke.
To melt his heart, she was ready to burn her own.
You're bitter
Coffee black
But I wouldn't change you for a thing
In the coldest of the day
You warm me up
In the darkest of the night
You wake me up
There's deep longing in my veins,
Longing for someone I've never met;
But still I know their soul,
It's half of my own,
And I beg the stars in my dreams,
Let me find them some day,
Let me be whole
In this broken world.
I hid my love
in the folds of origami
never to be open
or it will be destroyed
don't compare me to a phoenix
soaring from the ashes,
i'm the one who torched this,
in place of fingers, i have matches.
i aimed to end
not for rebirth,
do not compare me
to a weathered bird.
but if you do,
i'm something caged;
i want to rise
above the pain,
my wings don't fly,
they fan the flames.
- "i am no phoenix"
To love is to exist in a universe so vast you can never reach the end. There is no rules and there is no time; you just drift through space at the speed of light, passing asteroids and supernovas, yet never reaching the end. You crash into a star and there's just light, you float around a thousand moons and there's just never ending dance of gravity. You exist to wander in the beauty of infinity, so full of stars you barely see the void behind them. And it scares you when you realise how lost you can get inside a universe so deep that only human heart can beat in sync with its never ending wonder.
they told you
it's all black and white
good or bad
wrong or right
but they never say
that shadows are created by light
How can one word breaks two hearts at once.
"Stop crying," I plead.
Your screams are shaking the earth, your grief cracking the stones.
"How could I not?" you hiss with sharp breeze, "Does your heart not know the same agony? You wander the world, quiet and faint, yet never warm or content. Tell me you hypocrite, why is it so?"
"I still have arms, yet I can no longer hold the one that holds my heart."
"See!" you screach, eyes flashing with agony, "You know why I weep, yet you plead me to not, to quiet my pain, to forget about a longing so deep."
"Clouds on your face are getting darker," I whisper in need. "Don't let them consume you."
Your anger makes the air vibrate when you ask "Why?"
My voice is just a quiet echo of my heart, a desperate prayer of the one left behind.
"The blue of your eyes...I don't want to lose it twice."
The thunder stops, yet rain still kisses my cheeks, softly in apology.
"I don't want to lose you twice."
Clouds crack, light shining trough, light sky blue like the eyes I once knew.
There is no answer, just a windy kiss on my lips as I wander on, beneath a bright blue sky.
Like crystals dripping from the sky
I want to fall
And shatter in your embrace
She had a softness to her beauty
Like a scarlet flower
falling apart beneath the autumn sky
Its petals gently dripping to the ground
Never caught by brezee or scorched by sun
They fall and they drift
To give dark earth a velvet kiss
She had softness to her beauty
Like a scarlet flower
Dying just to love
My mind is full of shrapnel
Words that shot like bullets through my skull
Tore my nerves to pieces
And now I bleed
With jagged shreds still cutting me apart
And I bleed
Crystal blood just streaming down my cheeks
And I bleed
From bullet holes that you can't see
And I bleed
Black words on paper pouring night and night
When I can't sleep
Because my mind is still screaming in memory of pain and agony
And I bleed
And I will bleed untill crystall dropplets turn to ash
Because there is no remedy for shrapnel wounds you cannot see
You swallow air like its a slimy coal, burned from all the poisounes lies. And you choke in the dusty river of regret, when the world around you turns from grey to red to white, and there is nothing you can do to stop the stream of devastation pouring from the skies. No more heaven, earth is just a crumbling dust, the skies are gone and so is future painted green. You turned your back on her and now she rips your lungs apart, cell by cell, with nails of flames before she kisses you blood-red, one last time, poison of your own device tainting her lips.
I fell in love for the first time
and I thought I would fly on gentle winds forever
but then I hit the ground
and my heart shattered
like songbird’s crystal bones
and I thought I would never fly under the smiling skies again
but my bones healed and my wings caught the gentle winds
and I flew and I fell
and I repeated it all again
because the skies were smiling
and my heart was crystal clear
Shot.
Coat turned red.
Shot.
One more dead.
