Oliver loved the concession, there honestly wasnât anything better than being able to watch a live game and eat. He stood in line waiting to get a soft pretzel behind a group of guys who werenât at all being subtle about the girl they were talking about. He waved it off at first thinking it was just stupid boys being stupid.
He wouldâve immediately went back to his seat but of course one of the single organism celled boys had to take the last pretzel and he was stuck waiting. As he leaned on the counter his attention from his phone was ripped away when stupid squad started to holler, his eyes followed their hoots to the girl eating a hotdog. He was given his pretzel, but his focus wasnât on the bread anymore, it was on the girl and stupid squad. For the most part, she seemed like she could defend herself, but even with the kind of sass she had, one of her versus a group of guys wasnât at all fair. Taking a bite out of his pretzel he walked over there, looking at the girl with eyes that just screaming âlet me help youâ. âIâll give you an idea on what she eats.âHomegirl here prefers organic and farm fresh. So if youâre looking for her to eat you like she is eating this hotdog. Well, weâd love for you to come by and weâll just chop you up and throw you in the meat grinder.â Oliver said casually as if it was normal. âWeâll send your little penisâs back to your moms though, we donât any of that nasty shit.â He smiled, even though he was shaking his head at himself on the inside.
tori can hold her own very well, thank you very much, but she also wasnât above realizing she needed a little help every now and then. besides, the second period would be starting soon and she wanted to be SAFELY back in her seat by the time the buzzer sounded. gaze drops to her hotdog, ketchup neatly squirted on top of it, idly wondering if it would be worth the reaction to smear it on head assholeâs salmon colored shorts. she ends up not having to choose, her savior of sorts coming with a one liner and witty comment. he seems innocent enough, and if he isnât âwell, at least sheâd only have one douchebag to deal with instead of three. so she stays silence with a smug look on her face as the unsightly douchebag trio disappears into the crowd.Â
â oh thank god, â she mutters, relief obvious in her voice before she takes a bite of her hotdog, chewing rapidly and swallowing. â sorry, iâm just starving ----- thank you, though. someday iâm going to have to come up with a better comeback that works faster. â she squints almost a bit comically up at the taller, expression drawing a bit more SERIOUS, â donât have to try one on you, do i? no ulterior motive here? because if you ARE this is where i pretend i have a ring and shove it in your face. â okay, not her greatest one-liner and certainly not the most elegant way to say âiâm takenâ, but itâs not like anyone really knows that sheâs not just wearing a signed aspen jersey out of extreme sports devotion to a single player. brows raise in expressive expectancy ---and she returns to the important task of eating her hotdog.
