i go by Baz and this is the culmination of being a pretty equally huge fan of Ray Toro and collecting graphic t-shirts ! any shirt i also happen to own will be tagged w/ personal collection :)

.ᐟ.ᐟ Iron Maiden (Can I Play With Madness?)
another maiden shirt ! the design on the front bears the title of the iron maiden single "Can I Play With Madness?" while the back design bears the name of the album (and the namesake of another song) "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son". this is a concept album based on a piece of folklore found in the writing of Orson Scott Card. it isn't an entirely complete concept, noted by the band especially, but a cool album nonetheless!

.ᐟ.ᐟ You Think You Know What's Going To Happen? (24)
this design is a reference to the show "24" that aired from 2001 to 2010 (this specific design is from 2005). its an action drama that follows a counter terrorism agent and has a format that uses episodes to depict one hour at a time (similar to the pitt!). along with the design on the front, the back says "You Don't Know Jack!" which is a reference to the main character Jack Bauer!

.ᐟ.ᐟ Hello My Name Is Distance (WATE)
this design is (most likely) a piece of merch for the band We Are The Emergency and their song "Hello, My Name is Distance". i haven't managed to find a direct link or image of it confirming it as their merch, but given ray and his penchant for post-hardcore groups i'm willing to go out on a limb and say that's what this is!

.ᐟ.ᐟ It's Not About The Pasta! (Vanderpump Rules)
this is a personal fave because it implies that ray does in fact watch vanderpump and potentially other bravo shows. now i want to know which housewives are his favorite. the quote "It's not about the pasta!" is from episode 7, season 6 of vanderpump rules.

long time no see ! this is a top gun promotional shirt from 2006 that ray wore during prorev. you can find this shirt all over online but no two are exactly alike because of the camo pattern. a better look at the design below !
.ᐟ.ᐟ Rise Against (Hoodie)
not quite a t-shirt but a toro wardrobe piece nonetheless! this is a rise against zip up that sports the version of their logo from 2006 on the back. rise against supported mcr on the black parade tour that same year!
i do have some other non t-shirt items ill end up posting. forgive me but toro tees and other things ray also wears was too long of a blog name. a better look at the front and back below!
.ᐟ.ᐟ Born To Die In Berlin (The Ramones)
this design shows the ramones walking in front of the famous brandenburg gate in berlin, germany. there is a ramones museum located in berlin that sells this shirt and id have to assume its where rays came from as well. if you peek at the ramones museum website you can find a photo of frank in their guest book haha.

.ᐟ.ᐟ Psycho (1960)
first of a few horror related shirts ill end up posting, given the lovely horror fanatic that ray is. design shows a cluster of stills from the shower scene in the movie Psycho (1960). ray also has a guitar strap with frames of a screaming janet leigh from the same scene.

.ᐟ.ᐟ Underoath (Stone Angel)
this (admittedly hard to see) design is an underoath shirt ! theyre a post-hardcore/metalcore band from florida. in an interview with the band, a quote from ray is mentioned saying "They were one of those bands that we kind of learned how to play live [from]. And just, the work ethic. They were always hard workers." (in reference to warped '07). underoath replied that it was sweet of my chem to think that :)

.ᐟ.ᐟ Bouncing Souls (Rocker Heart)
the bouncing souls are a punk rock band from NJ that my chem are fans/friends of ! mcr played with them a few times over the years, most recently having them as openers on the 2022 reunion tour (Aug 27, NY @ UBS arena). they also attended and performed a few songs at frank and jamias wedding :)

.ᐟ.ᐟ Skeleton Crew (Switchblade)
a shirt from franks clothing line/record company called Skeleton Crew ! they sold merch at festivals as well as on their webstore and he worked on it alongside jamia until around 2010. theres also an image of gerard in this same shirt so they either both got one or in classic ray and gerard fashion were sharing one shirt haha. a better look at the design below !
.ᐟ.ᐟ Little Joe Gould (Murder By Death)
a fellow Eyeball Records band, Little Joe Gould eventually became the band Murder By Death. Gerard provides vocals on a later track of theirs called "The Devil in Mexico". also theres an old cd sampler out there featuring both Little Joe Gould and MCR ! ive been having trouble finding a good image of the design on this shirt so for now enjoy another photo of ray wearing it until i do :^)
.ᐟ.ᐟ Captain Eo Tribute (Michael Jackson)
this shirt was released alongside the rerelease of the Captain Eo short film that was shown in Disney parks. it was rereleased in 2010 to honor the death of Michael Jackson (who stars as Captain Eo) and shirts with this design can be told apart by the little "tribute" on the logo. a better look at the design below !
.ᐟ.ᐟ Fall of The Berlin Wall (NYT)
bearing the iconic photo taken by Keith Meyers in 1989 during the Fall of the Berlin Wall, this shirt was originally sold by the New York Times. this image was taken from the Western side of the wall and features participants in the Peaceful Revolution that initiated the dismantling of the wall (as well as the Iron Curtain).
ray wears this during an Alt Press shoot in 2011. a better look at the shirt and the original photo below !

Martin & Co. (aka Martin Guitar/Martin Guitar Company) are a guitar and gear company that mainly sells acoustic guitars. they actually still sell this shirt if you ever want to match with ray haha. a better look at the design below !
.ᐟ.ᐟ Randy Rhoads
tribute shirt to the late guitarist Randy Rhoads (original guitarist for Quiet Riot and for the first two Ozzy Osbourne solo records). Randy is a huge influence on Ray and his style in technicality and especially in mixing classical elements into metal. check out the song "Dee" for a really great sample of his playing ! a better look at the design below!
