Well, it needs to be understood that in a D/s relationship, even if it is limited only to the bedroom, communication is a must, and safewords are an intricate part of that.Trust goes both ways here. The Sub puts trust in the Dom to study their every reaction, to immediately stop the moment the safeword is used, and to provide their ideal aftercare once the session comes to a close. The Dom puts trust in the Sub to never hold back on using their safeword when they feel they have reached their mental/emotional/physical limits. Dev-mun has, of course, explained to me that a D/s relationship is about pushing outside of your comfort zones - to try to establish new limits and boundaries. But only at the pace you’re comfortably with.I roleplay Cyclonus as a relatively experienced Dominant and Submissive. He knows the game from both sides, being a Switch. He knows the rules, the expectations. As a Submissive, he knows how he is supposed to be treated by a Dominant; as a Dominant, he knows how a ‘proper’ Submissive is supposed to behave (safety and communication).So, if your muse gets hurt, physically or emotionally, and it is not the healthy, consensual sort that they were meant to achieve the D/s session, then I will argue that was something that the Sub could have and should have prevented through the power of their safeword. Please, please, do not preemptively do this for the sake of roleplay and wanting to cause angst/strife between our characters, especially if your muse is new to the D/s scene and it would be “natural” for them to not see the importance of their power as a Sub. Cyclonus is not that bastard from 50 Shades of Grey, my loves. He is a proper Dom. He is not going to demand that your muse jump into bondage and punishment-play, especially if they’re inexperienced in D/s, the first time they decided to sleep with one another. Trust and establishing companionship is needed long before we can touch into his darker tastes.I would love for Cyclonus to mentor your muse, if they require it, in the pleasures of D/s, M/s, bondage, punishment and pain, stimuli-denial, etc.; to guide your muse into how to please him as their Dom, how he can please them as their Dom, and how to properly dominate him as their Sub.If you want to cause issues between our muses, your Sub getting hurt, then please discuss it with me first (e.g. Dev and Red are roleplaying such things out themselves between their muses; have discussed it often, made temporary bypasses to the issue at hand, and made it certain that the intent to harm either muse is never actually there). You have no idea how much mental/emotional damage you will cause my muse and his overall trust in your muse if you do this without discussing it with me first. Just as it is abusive to not heed to your Sub’s safeword, it’s just as damaging to, essentially, lie to your Dom by allowing them to believe that you are consenting to the things that are, actually, harming you in a non-consensual way.So, you ask: What would Cyclonus do if he upset his Sub during interfacing? He would stop immediately the moment he got the sense that something had gone terribly wrong, and he would surround them in their preferred methods of aftercare, hoping that it would soothe them.Afterward, he will most likely refuse to invite your muse to enjoy such activities with him again. Your muse will have wronged him; not the other way around. So it’s not what Cyclonus would do to soothe an upset Sub.. but what the Sub would do if they upset Cyclonus.
