Date Everything is literally the perfect dating sim for myself. I always hated how so many of them had so little options for partners, like three characters max. The most characters I saw a game have before I played Date Everything was four—and two of them I fucking hated.
Every character is new, fun, interesting, and has so much depth; a character literally states in game that they have similar struggles, they just handle things differently. That is exactly what a dating sim should have: characters that have depth, and feel different to others in every aspect. They should all have something unique about themself, something that makes them worthy to be loved by players.

No, Diavolo from JJBA wouldn't listen to 6arelyhuman and Fall Out Boy. He was born and raised in Italy in the 70s and 80s, why the hell would he listen to that?? What makes anyone think he would ever listen to that?? He would listen to bands popular around that time, like Alphataurus and Adriano Celentano. All of you are fake fans.
He would listen to progressive rock if anything, an extremely popular music movement in Italy during the time he was alive. If you want to say he'd listen to rock in America, it WOULD STILL be in the 70s and 80s. Bon Jovi, Kiss, Guns N' Roses. He wouldn't listen to your stupid emo boy music—that isn't a hard concept to think of when you view his character.

Guys being a pop culture paganist is so interesting, because what do you mean I just gave Star Platinum a McDonald's Saja Boys collectible card because I prayed to it to help my friend get the card he wanted. this may be too wild of a post and idk how many people are gonna agree with it (as i'm someone who thinks pop culture entities inherently exist in some form one way or another) but yknow. it's my blog and i can post what i like here.
so, idk what virtual pet-loving person needs to hear this but nothing is stopping you from working with your virtual pet as a magical entity, spiritual entity, servitor, spirit companion, friend, family member, or familiar.
u like pokemon? work with pokemon. u like neopets? work with neopets. have a tamagotchi that's old enough to graduate? work with it and see where it takes you.
despite practicing pcp/pcm for a long time it took me... a really long time to realise i can just do this. with virtual pets specifically. i can experiment, i can see what happens, and i'm allowed to make my practice more fun.

I want to get back into my pop culture paganism worshipping ideals, and working with Pokémon would be a wonderful start. And pop culture paganism is valid in its own way, however it helps you! It helps me heal/manage my religious trauma AND it comes hand-to-hand with my neurodivergency. Yes I will proudly say I worship pop culture entities, and yes I will proudly say working with Pokémon is good and okay! Just as long as you're respectful!
