Something about Joshua was off lately, he would snap at you, or would completely ignore you, wouldn’t bother texting you to just check up or to say hello like he’d used to. Somehow you felt it was your fault, deciding that you’ll go and try to resolve the conflict with him.
Driving to his shared apartment with Jeonghan and Seungcheol, they both greet you with a quick hello and ya they were just stepping out, giving you the privacy to talk with your boyfriend of almost 2 years. Knocking on Josh’s door, he grumbles before open the door, his face remains annoyed when he sees you, his eyes slant, “What’re you doing here?” he asks, turning away and sitting down at his desk, to continue writing. Your shoulders sink slightly, not knowing he’d still act this way towards you.
“I came to see if you’re doing okay. Haven’t talked in a while. Missed you.” He laughs dryly at your statement. “Miss me?” He stand up, his back facing you, “If you were missing me then why were you all over Soonyoung?” “Jo-“ “No you and him have gotten so friendly, I was wondering if you were cheating on me like the little both you are.” He finally faced you. He continues with his hateful spew, words you never knew would escape his mouth.
“God, just shut up!” You yell at him, your eyes stinging with tears. The way he spoke to you that way, when you loved him with your being, how you asked Soonyoung to comfort you. “Did you really think i’d do that to you? I love you? You’ve been distant and cold toward me! The only way to seek out help was to talk to one of your members.” You shake your head at him, the tears finally falling down your face. “But if that’s what you see then fine.” hiccuping, you quickly seek out your escape.
“Baby, wait!” He grabs onto your shoulders, pulling you into a hug. “Don’t cry, I was jealous, I thought you didn’t like me anymore, I love you too. I’m sorry.”
Turning in his arms you look him in his eyes, they’re shining like they used to, his smile bright, he pecks you on the cheek. “Cmon we missed a lot of time together.”
