Boom Underground

my crossover/timeline au thing of "what if sonic boom and sonic underground was the same timeline?"

below is a short teaser of the first chapter: spiritual summons

The sounds of Tails tinkering away in his home that sat behind his home easily reached the speedster, and easily lulled the hedgehog to dozing off.

“Sonic…”

His eyes snapped open at the voice, quickly whipping his head this way and that for the owner. Had Tails come in to scold him for sleeping on the couch? Had Amy and/or Sticks decided on a late-night visit cause they were bored? “Nothing…” Sonic concluded after a moment of silence. Taking a deep breath, he lay on the couch properly, getting comfortable as he decided to just get some sleep. ‘No way it could have been-’

“Hello, Sonic”

The next time Sonic opened his eyes, he expected to see his ceiling fan, but instead he found the familiar figure of a green reptilian dressed in a purple robe. His eyes still held the same kindness from when he was younger. Despite the lump in his throat and the way his nerves were burning to start running, the hedgehog offered the old friend a smile. “Hey, Orc. Long time, no see.”
