Givenchy Menswear Fall Winter 2013 Pre-Order
It is very much well documented that Givenchy menswear pretty much fly off the warehouses (they sometimes don't even hit the shop shelves!). We can now pre-order the collection for delivery around August/September, which I think is the best way to guarantee ourselves the pieces that we want. Luisa Via Roma seemed to have bought a mammoth collection for Fall Winter 2013. Have a look, shop the collection here.
Tropical Flowers
So I was looking through Flikr looking for ideas for Touni Minuits 3rd Collection and came across some of these amazing images.
I hope you find them as amazing as I did.

Untitled - Felipe Rojas Llanos
A video format of Felipe Rojas Llanos' Untitled 6 Collection. Lily & Benson were very pleased to have the oppertunity to help with the final cutting of the video.
You can look through the stills of the collection here

Ben & Sherman. Rosebud. 2013. Acrylic on paper, 8.3 x 11.8 in (21 x 30 cm).
Batman
I love this picture of Batman. It is a image style I like for Touni Minuit, retro and sketchy, surrounded by beautiful women.
Just Amazing
I don't watch Britain’s Got Talent but this video was sent to me this morning.
What an amazing surprise. This performance combines ballet with shaddow puppets to create an incredible moving story about lovers who become separated by war - an all to familiar story these days.
Please watch and support some amazing charities helping our soldiers and their families.
Help for Heroes is one such charity.
The Pope by Banksy
Discovered on this cold but sunny Easter morning in Shoreditch: the Pope by Banksy or in a Banksy’s style (who can be sure of these things nowadays anyway). What’s more remarkable is that Vatican was the first to spot this new piece and included a witty retort in today’s Pope Francis’ “Urbi et Orbi” address, denouncing ‘greed looking for easy gain‘. Eat this, spray-can Philistines!

Nick Grimshaw - Keeping Camo in for 1 More Day
1 year ago I was predicting a return of camo. It had only been out for 18-24 months, but I felt it had died too quickly and someone would come back and give it a new breath of life.
That occoured (1-0 Laurence) and went over board but I loved it. However, recently I think it's time it went back to it's grave and take a nap. Let the zebra and other none standard animal patterns come in.
Saying that, I think that Nick Grimshaw gave it one more day of acceptance when he attended Esquire UK's first summer party at Somerset House. It was a washed out, cold and wet day in London, one wouldn't really think it was summer at all. The Radio One DJ arrived in a black t-shirt and jeans combo, blue hooded sweatshirt and a reversible lightweight blazer from Kenzo menswear Spring Summer 2013.
Jimmy Choo
There has been a huge rise in the luxe skins trend, from acessories to footwear - with Jimmy Choo adopting this in an exceptional way. Not only does the Albion Anaconda leather (yes, it's not real snake but an embossed leather) tick the high-top trend perfectly with the right amount of ankle height with ideal padding, it just screams luxury at its footwear best. The sleek but textured cup sole off-sets the taupe leather but one of the highlights for me is the double layered facings - the bits where the laces are. Available now at Mr Porter, they really are worth the investment for spring and beyond.
Hahnwald, Cologne, Germany
Today, I made the most of the sunshine and visited a park in Southern Cologne, Germany. It is located between Hahnwald (a suburban residential area) and the city.
Anyone who knows me is aware that I’m not really into horticultural things. But, being a designer I’m fully appreciative of how things look.
Here in Hahnwald, they have an incredible botanic garden but most impressive is that all the trees come from different nations around the world. As pictured, the Seychelles tree, with the old green and red flag.
During this visit I got so many ideas, it really is amazing where inspiration can come from. If you are in Cologne it is well worth a visit.
