                 THE LITTLE SMILE that sat on her lips came with a small twinge of jealousy . a little pinch on her skin , akin to a small sting of the needle on her calloused finger tips . it was a girlish folly of course , but like all highborn ladies , there was a time in brienne’s life where she had adored the thought of having her own wedding . she loved the gown , the celebration and the entirety of the whole thing , and so , when she had descended to her daily lessons with her septa wearing a gown with her mother’s old veil , septa roelle had made quick work to diminish those dreams away . an ugly girl should be grateful to even be wedded at all , she had said despite the tears running down brienne’s cheeks , if you expect anything more you’ll be made a fool than you already are . and so brienne had learn to expect less , ask for less , and hope whatever she provides proves to be enough . 

                “ you will make a lovely bride . “ brienne said gently . “ you will make your lord husband the happiest man alive , i’m sure of it  . “

“I do hope so!" Rapunzel said, there was so much she didn't know about life or being a Lannister, but she hoped with all her heart she would please whomever she married.

"I hope to bring honor to my family, like I'm sure you do."

“Maybe I do. But when it comes to Cersei, I am not a Lannister like her. She would probably say that I am not a proper Lannister. Especially as I don’t see things like she does.“

“You might not, Princess.” The Captain found this easy to believe; if you had magical hair that once possessed healing powers, you probably wouldn’t get sick. “But other people can, if they haven’t had it before. You know what ‘contagious’ means?”

"It sounds terrible."
