Putting his palm flat to his user's palm, matching his clawed fingers against the smaller hand of his sweet user.
Having his user cup Rinz's face or helmet. His user's hands are soft and careful as he cradles Rinz's cheeks. Such kindness, such warmth.
Getting to hold hands with his user. Retracting his claws as much as possible to avoid nicking or harming his user, and feeling his user warmth and energy flow unbidden into his undeserving, damaged program-self.
Feeling his user's hands trace around his back as Rinz is pulled into a hug. Allowing his user to put his hands at rest on Rinz's own discs, held protectively at their docking station between his shoulder blades. Knowing he is safe, and has no need to fear harm, or need to jump to the defensive.
That was the only feeble thought your brain could muster of your fleeting grip of sanity before the warm, delightful prickles of Rinzler's static aura overrode the remaining panic in your mind and drowned everything out to peaceful bliss.
The program let out a deep growl that twisted smoothly into a rumbling purr when he felt your hands wrap around him. His electronic droning vibrated into your form as you pulled him even closer, feeling the very particles of your existence meshing and blending with his.
It was like you had no control over yourself - all you knew was that you needed him as much as he must have needed you.
He adjusted in your hold, easily moving away as if your bear hug on him was nothing more than a passing breeze, where he slotted his leg between the apex of your thighs. The delightful amount of pressure he placed there had your head swimming in a night sky with stars made of orange, pinprick lights.
“Closer,” he growled out, hissing as you ground yourself against his thigh. “Need you closer.”
“How?” You huffed out, desperation cresting through your voice as he backed away from you, parting the space between you both.
“This,” he droned out, before displaying a sharp orange claw in front of your face.
Your heart leapt up into your throat, stealing your breath for a few seconds as you feared he'd turn his weapon upon you but -
Instead, he gently placed the tip of his claw against the fabric of your exo-suit, just where it attached at your neck, and he slowly dragged his hand down lower and lower and lower, until he paused just below your belly button. A shiver of anticipation traveled slowly in the wake of Rinzler's touch, making you jolt when, all at once, the material of your suit began to disintegrate before your very eyes, following the exact pattern Rinzler drew down your form. It started evaporating into pixels over your body, leaving your bare flesh glistening in sweat under the dim lighting and completely exposed to the digital monster hovering over you.
“Never seen anything … so beautiful,” Rinzler tried whispering, more as if he was talking to himself than you.
But... the way the light was glinting off of his helmet and the way Rinzler lingered there over you, his breathing raspy and on the cusp of sounding like a man dying of thirst, strangely enough, you felt the same sentiment back to the murderous program.
Your chest was heaving as you watched your exo-suit crawled away, only too aware that the fabric of your suit peeled away from your chest, leaving your nipples pert and perked at attention, much to Rinzler's hungry delight.
He unfurled his fist and gently placed his hand down over your stomach, still watching in sheer awe as your suit continued crumbling away from your skin. His palm was warm and you couldn't stop from letting a pleased moan drift from between your lips, distracting you completely while your suit pulled away from your hips and continued on its way.
You should have felt some sort of shame, but instead, you only writhed there, feeling the chilly Grid air glance off of your bare flesh.
Lovely, bright liquid coated Rinzler's hand, dripping slowly from his long, taloned hand.
The program watched it at first, in awe of how though it appeared the same as their Grid rain, it moved slowly, unhurried down the curve of his claw and onto the ground around his feet. The viscosity was different and strange, but intriguing just the same.
But even so, there was something else so interesting about this liquid.
Rinzler hesitantly brought his hand upwards towards his head and retracted his helmet. With slow, deliberate motions, he opened his mouth and licked at his claw.
His eyes brightened at once as he marveled at this incredible new find of his.
Tangy, sharp, metallic and pungent. It was like nothing he had ever known.
A shiver ran through his form, Rinzler's circuits burned brighter for just a moment too before he realized:
He needed more.
The enforcer squatted down next to the unmoving body of the user before him and stuck his hand deeper into the wound that he had cut through the fleshy being for more of the user's delightful, liquid life source, cupping it in his palm and bringing it to his lips to drink.
Imagining how Rinzler is running hotter than a regular program, possibly even warmer than a user as well.
And just imagining them holding Rinzler's face in their hands as a soothing calming gesture. Or hugging him, just holding him, and Rin purring in contentment at the comfort he's being given....
Rinzler letting out weak whines and whimpers as your hands caress him. He pulls you in a hug, letting out a deep sigh as he does, feeling your relatively cold body chill him down.
Meanwhile, his body feel so delightful against yours. The Grid has been caught in a nonstop rainstorm for what feels like eons, and his unnatural warmth makes gooseflesh prickle to life under your exosuit. You rest your cheek against his shoulder and feel tension leak out of his body like air being letting out of a balloon.
He retracts his helmet, and nuzzles his cheek against the top of your head.
The balance berween you both of hot and cold, digital and physical, it's like it's meant to be.
You both melt into each other's touch, like you're meant to be a matching set for one another♡
Imagining how Rinzler is running hotter than a regular program, possibly even warmer than a user as well.
And just imagining them holding Rinzler's face in their hands as a soothing calming gesture. Or hugging him, just holding him, and Rin purring in contentment at the comfort he's being given....
Having Rinzler chasing after you in Clu's Grid, not sure if he's after you because he wants to kill you, present you to his leader, or what. You've seen him derezz other programs who've targeted you without a spare thought.
Apparently, the saying that "the enemy of my enemy is my ally" did not compute for him in any capacity.
He wanted you for himself.
Anyone who wished harm on you immediately put a target on their own back before they could even risk spilling a drop of your blood. It was reassuring in a way, but horrifying how this masked monster seemed determined to be the one to take you down, personally.
By foot, by lightcycle, or even by fucking lightjet, it didn't matter. He was on your heels from the start, almost playfully providing you a few moments of headstart before he'd tackle you and spar with you, discs refracting into one another in terrible clashes and batons extending to swords and bo staffs to try and take each other down.
You kept managing to get away, but Rinzler's relentless pursuit of you wore you down, kept you constantly at a hairsbreadth of breaking from the nonstop tension. You never had a moment to rest, a moment to stop. Just tracking down some source of energy before blasting off to some other corner of the Grid itself.
Still, it was only a matter time before you would need to get some serious sleep, and you had been ignoring it as long as you could.
But after having eluded Rinzler for multiple day-cycles, you hastily made a makeshift hideout in a little dingy town far off from the bright lights of Tron City and once you felt as though you were hidden and safe, you crashed into your pathetic excuse for a bed and fell into a deep, dark nap that blurred the time as you slept through electric dreams and nightmarish entities of glowing embers chasing you and hunting you for sport...
You woke up in a hazy daze, seeing the world around you enveloped in black, but...
No.
The world wasn't black, Rinzler was there crouched over top of you, leering intensely at you from his position with his hands and knees framing your body.
You took in a sharp, fragmented breath at the borderline of entering a full panic as he lingered there.
How the hell did he find you? Was this it? Were you just doomed from the beginning? Was he destined to kill you this whole time?!
As he bent nearer you, you winced and turned your face away from him to the side, clenching your eyes shuts and trying to block out whatever he'd do next. Considering how obsessed he had been with you this whole time, he'd likely had designed the most demented way to take your life with his own two hands.
Your blood ran cold though as the warm, reflective metal of Rinzler's helmet pressed against the base of your neck, with Rinzler resting his head there at your shoulder. Then, slowly but surely, his entire body shifted to be flat against you.
His chest armor was flush against your heaving ribs, with his hands splayed out, gripping intensely at the bedding just to the left and right of your head, peeling it and shredding it with his gleaming claws. His legs were still alongside yours, trapping you under him, with his pelvis resting just above yours.
You felt like you were being suffocated, his presence demanding more and more of you, forcing every particle of air out between your bodies, as if he was trying to merge you both into one being. All the while, he nuzzled his helmet against your neck and shoulder, a heady growl-purr echoing out through his distorted and damaged vocal functions, buzzing each and every sound he made directly though your form.
Your arms trembled, your breathing was rapid and unsteady, gasping for breath as the warmth radiated off of Rinzler and he closed in on you in every imaginable way possible, until his helmet pressed against your ear - sending an uncontrollable ripple of shivers down your spine - when he took a raspy breath and began murmuring to you in an attempt of a whisper:
I want everyone to know. After I posted this chapter. I slept for like 17 hours, with a few short wake ups here and there. I am awake, feeding my cats & grabbing some grub for myself & will likely go right back to bed. But. I'm DONE♡
The best ship dynamic is actually just. "I love you and it terrifies me. I'm terrified how much I need you and how much I want you to need me. I'm terrified I'm no good for you and I'm going to hurt you and ruin you and I'm terrified of how I feel when you're around me but I can't bear to push you away completely because I'm terrified to be without you so now we're stuck in limbo and that's terrifying too. I'm terrified that if I lost you now it'd destroy me and I'm terrified that it's too late to do anything about it. I love you. And it's terrifying."
After a particularly rough day cycle of patrols, capturing insurgents & playing a non-lethal game of Disc Wars with you, you allowed your victor to drop with you to the ground, where he purred aggressively - sounding more like a deep protective growl than anything -, his helmet breaking away so he could cover you in sharp, demanding kisses and stinging, electric love bites at the base of your neck, before he slowly calmed down and lay motionless in your arms, just listening in rapture to your user double beat, the still faster than normal pound of your heart, holding tightly to your bidy so you couldnt vanish from his hold, with you gently running your hands through his hair and kissing him lovingly here and there as you lie there together, at least happily at peace with one another, trapped in a digital hellscape neither of you could ever leave♡
Feeling helpless & like shit. Have another Flint x Rinz set up because I have nothing else going on for me but making slightly altered AUs lol
Flint is taken as Clu's "bride" though he's more of just the Luminary's pet on a leash. Rinzler is his body guard and tuens into Flint's only friend. Things change from there.
Learning of Clu's plans for insurrection against Flynn, Flint attempts to find his allies and escape with his fellow user outside of the Grid, but his escape is interrupted by Clu and his forces. Flint's captured and dragged off, totally isolated from the world outside as Clu makes his move...
Now, since the Grid has finally begun settling after Clu's violent coming to power, Flint is still trapped within the program's vile clutches. He's had his admin privileges taken away, his identity disc & batons & weapons stored under lock & key, and has been made into Clu's special pet.
Flint's begrudgingly dragged around from event to event to showcase just how far the almighty users have fallen, taunting Flynn to come out of hiding to rescue his old ally. But, no one ever shows.
Depressed & distressed beyond belief, Flint has become nothing but a pretty piece of arm candy for Clu & a point of mockery from the digital civilization in which he's now a prisoner. He went from being a spunky ball of spitfire, trying to break away from Clu & save himself from his own dilemma, but after having his spirit broken by the all-powerful luminary, Flint's given up. He has guards constantly watching him at all times, unless he's cowering alone in his opulent prison chamber. He has no privacy beyond when he's locked in his room after Clu is done with Flint for the evening.
He is truly alone. He has nothing. And he has no one.
Rinzler has been bored with all the nothing going on & found little excitement in his day to day duties, except when he's thrown into the games to take out some last remaining beacons of "hope" that still remain after the users have been defeated. As Clu's bloody right hand, it'd a no-brainer that Rinz is assigned to be Flint's bodyguard.
After trying something new to take his own life when he was locked in his own room for rest one cycle with no one watching ovwr his every breath - though he was interrupted before being able to finally inflict the deady strike with the sharpened implement he crafted by hand -, Clu realizes his pretty little pet needs a security presence at all times. And considering the Grid is [mostly] secure in his new leadership, Clu donates his head enforcer to watching over his favorite prisoner of war that he's taken to be his other half.
Upon Clu's introduction to the looming force standing at Flint's bedside, Rinz is commanded to keep the user alive by any means necessary. To force him to take energy, to not be able to take his own life, and not allow harm from any others to come his way either.
At this point, Flint hasn't left his bed in days, has refused to imbibe any energy and is basically trying to exhaust himself and pursuade his body to give in to natural death. He's been humiliated & is ashamed of what he's become at Clu's demand, a pawn in his game to win over the Grid and a toy for the lookalike program to torture any way he wants whenever he so feels.
It's basic commands & easy enough to follow, so when Clu leaves them, locking both user & beast in the room together, that's when Rinz realizes what a handful he has with Flint.
Despite being exhausted and nearly on death's door, Flint is argumentative & difficult, fighting against Rinz in any way possible and refusing to leave the confines of his bed. When, after a particularly cruel force of strength to just force energy down his throat, Flint gets ill &, through gasping breaths & sobs as the bright blue liquid pours back from his mouth, Flint asks Rinz to either kill him now or leave him alone. The program is... somehow shaken and steps backwards, having broken one of the basic lines of protocol embedded in his code.
《Do not cause harm to the user.》
Rinzler draws away for the remaining part of the night cycle, with some unknown process running deep within his programming, & watches & waits as Flint fades between sleep & awakening, before...
Trying something different.
When Flint comes back into consciousness, he's weak & less snappy, but he notices right away how Rinz stands at his side, attentive & almost deep in thought as the user shuffles into an upright position. Rinzler tilts his head, as if asking a question, before offering a glass of energy. No fighting, no aggression, just a simple gesture after all this time of being crushed in Clu's tight grip.... Flint accepts it & studies Rinzler carefully all the while.
What starts out as Flint just bearing with Rinzler's company at every moment of time, turns into quiet companionship. After that one time of forcing liquid down Flint's throat, Rinzler stays far from attempting any more actions of violence. His very nature demands carnage and destruction, but some overriding line within his very being holds him fast, keeps him calm, and makes the beast enjoy the peace.
Flint starts talking to his silent guard about everything and anything. Rinzler isn't capable of returning words, bit he listens attentively as Flint tells his life story or about the comic collection he has at home - and will probably never see again - or of visiting his family abroad and wishing he never left his homeland.
Truly, Flint has no way of knowing if the monster actually understands him or if he's listening, but for a change, to have someone not violently force Flint to do something against his own will, it's refreshing and nice. He absolutely sees the deadly assassin as his closest ally.
But
One night after Clu throws the user carelessly back to Rinzler's watch late in the night cycle, Flint is weeping & appears wounded, though he bears no visible injuries. Whatever it was was that caused this was something dreadfully serious & made a fire burn hatefully in Rinzler's data, but he can't process what may have occurred. Still, he needs to care for his ward.
When the door shuts in on them, locking them in Flint's gilded cage, the user falls against the program, sobbing & clutching onto his armor plating. It's as natural as drawing his disc to fight that Rinz finds himself holding onto the user until the worst of his tears subside. He eventually guides Flint to his bedding, but he ardently refuses to lay down unless Rinzler will join him.
Confused, Rinz acquiesces and finds in no time at all, the user is quietly snoring in his hold.
Rinz never finds out what exactly Clu did to Flint that night, but it eats at him for cycles on.
Things naturally develop further from there. Flint & Rinzler bond & become closer & closer in their private shared prison. Clu only sees a happier "bride" and his loyal enforcer. During games when Rinz competes, Flint is at the edge of his seat, breathing sharply with each erratic move his friend makes, and finds himself breathless when Rinz turns his way at the end of each game as if to say "Yes, I'm still here."
Eventually, things change. Whether snapping from realizing what his leader had been doing to his user, or by suddenly coming to grips with how much the user means to him, but either way, Rinz's claws and discs are engaged and ready to chop Clu into tiny bits.
But, as ready & primed as he was to kill, Rinz was too late.
Suddenly catching a spike of fear that only came to him when Flint was in danger, Rinzler raced down the hallways until he mowed down the guards positioned at Clu's throne room & burst inside to find...
Flint sitting on the ground & holding Clu's identity disc. His eyes are tearing up, he has a bruise across his cheek, and his suit is rippex and torn in multiple areas with burning cuts going through his flesh while he sits calmly among golden pixilated voxels, scattered over the ground. His eyes seem empty but his mouth quirks into a smile as he docks Clu's disc.
"It's done," Flint said firmly. "Let's get the hell out of here."
A/N: I've struggled to work on this to the point I no longer care for it. Posting as is.
Paring: Rinzler x Reader (Really you can imagine whoever cuz the Admin is only referred to vaguely)
CW: Possessive behaviour (it's Rinzler, we been know lol)
. . .
The room is packed, full, overcrowded, much to the enforcer's distaste. Rinzler could never stand the droning and buzzing from the crowd, hungry and whining for their better's approval.
Behind the helmet, Rinzler's eyes flickered around at the slightest sound, alert to even the most minuscule movements from those present. He's sizing up every program, just waiting (wanting) for them to make the wrong move. His fingers twitch from their position clasped behind his back, itching to reach for and take the familiar weight of his identity disks in hand. But he has his orders and to deviate from them would cause him great discomfort, he would not disappoint his handler. So he slews in his irritation. The rumbling from deep within his chest grows louder, taking on a dangerous note.
When any one program so much as dared to look in his direction, even behind the mask, that intense burning gaze could be felt meeting them head-on — the programs rediverting their staring just as quickly as it begin.
The surrounding whispers are easily ignored.
There is only one thing on Rinzler's mind.
The black guard watches on from a distance — fixed to his post, per his administrator's commands — and observes as these lesser programs commune and mill about with them. A dark and possessive look overtakes his features as he continues to watch these inferiors scuttle around and make fools of themselves at the admin's feet for even a chance at getting into their good graces.
It would do those secondary programs no good. The admin is his. HIS. His to protect, his to covet, his to treasure… his and only his — just as he belongs to them, entirely theirs, down to his very code.
The thought of having to share his admin's attention any more than he has this cycle fills his lines with a restless charge. The need for brutality, the craving for violence. So close to a hunger, the desire to derezz, unmake the programs before his very eyes, and drink in their agony in their final moments of lucidity.
Rinzler resets his processor with a huff, he cannot lose himself now. But these “bloatware” are quickly trying his patience.
Rinzler's circuits flare bright—a red flashing warning—the musculature beneath his sleek suit coils, a tightly wound spring. The very definition of a predator poised to strike.
The leather of his gloves creaks with clenched fists. He's not sure how much more of this he can take.
I think it's only fair that evil!Flint at some point puts a collar on Rinz... not that anyone didn't already know he belonged to the user, but it 500% does something to Rinz that he did NOT see coming...
