I’m aware it’s a “hiatus” but when it’s a hiatus you don’t completely exclude the member from even previous photographs ft them when representing the group. You also don’t become so vague when addressing them during their time off, making them the antagonist in a documentary detailing their groups journey, put them in the very back of a majority of their choreographies when they are literally the visuals, and have terrible line distribution as well. Not to mention the active exclusion when displaying products associated with them (the monster high dolls, billboards, etc). LITERALLY PAINTING THEM AS A LAZY MEMBER COMPARED TO A GROUP OF DANCERS AND SINGERS WHO HAVE BEEN DOING THIS THEIR WHOLE LIVES.

Considering HYBEs track record with getting rid of idols this would unfortunately not be out of the realm of possibility. And as a black girl in the music industry in general, this kind of active discrimination is sadly very common. You literally cannot sit here and tell me “it’s just a hiatus” when other black women who have experienced this treatment (and anyone with eyes) can recognize it from a mile away.
