32 wks preggo! 8wks remaining. So excited to be in the home stretch. Symptoms: Nausea, lack of appetite, partial swelling in hands/feet and back pain. Exhaustion My baby shower is this Sunday which brings everything into reality. I can't wait to meet my son. He still has no name. My mild depression has subsided but I'm still super exhausted and can't sleep well due to discomfort and back pain. My asthma isn't the best but I have the most amazing pulmonary doc who watches me monthly and will be around for delivery. I plan to work until my due date. I will be out 12wks for maternity leave. Daycare: finding a daycare is hard and expensive. Nannies are just as expensive. Nursery: we are in the home stretch for the nursery. I'm going to wash a few things so it can be presentable for the babyshower!!! Nursery theme: jungle. I've had to cut back on the crazy workouts due to me having pre term contractions 😬.

Today is my Axel 2nd Bday!! I love this dog. He brings me so much joy and I will do anything for him. He is spoiled and entitled but I love it and I'm sure his behavior is because of me. He's a big, cuddle bear but super protective.

30weeks preggo: This week has been quite eye opening. I'm a very active, on the go. Pregnant not powerless person. But I started having pains Thursday night that I assumed were braxton hicks. I went to sleep and woke up for work with the same pains except worse. I managed to drive myself to work which was really difficult and call my doc. I was admitted under observation since I work in the same hospital I will be delivering at. I was hospitalized for almost 8hrs. Multiple test ran, IV fluids and close monitoring of my little. For a moment I was scared that I could be delivering him early which isn't good. as much as I complain he needs all the baking time he can. His father had to work and I didn't want to worry him with "what ifs" until I knew for sure something was wrong. They believe I was severely dehydrated although I drink about 2L/d my doc wants double that or more 😩. I've been resting this weekend and will resume my regular program on Monday. I love exercising it helps my back but I will stay away from outdoor physical activity. My depression is better. I still have back aches and generalized pains. I'm tired but can't get comfortable enough to sleep I've abandoned my man physically and emotionally and have to do better no matter how tired I am. I have to remember there is always someone out there waiting for you to slip. He's a good person and gets so mad when I do a lot and not rest. 30wk update. Will try and update more often.

27wks preggo and my emotions are everywhere. People tell you how great pregnancy is no one keeps it 💯. Well I'm here to tell you this is no walk in the park. Emotions tend to get the best of you beside your crazy symptoms (nausea, bloating, cramping, itching, insomnia and overall discomfort). 1) I have always been a slim person so to gain excessive weight is an adjustment. I'm fully aware it's bc of the baby I'm no idiot but it doesn't make me feel any better. Thankfully my weight gain has been on the healthy side so that's positive. But when ppl come up to me and tell me "dang your getting huge" is rude and inconsiderate FYI. 2) acne: boy they don't tell you all the acne you get in the weirdest places. For someone who went through life with no acne this is also traumatizing. And for you significant other to be less empathic makes you want to slap their head off. 3) stretch marks: I only have two under my breast right now. None of my stomach but I do lube frequently throughout the day. My breast we're going to get them regardless bc anyone who goes from a small B- cup to a D/DD is bound to get something. My mom makes me a body butter made of natural raw shea, raw coco butter and a carrier oil. Works great!

Post church meal with @imphotogenic. My meal is all veggies and he is enjoying lamb in my face. The struggle isn't as bad anymore unless your surrounded by meat!!! (at Fadi's Meyerland Mediterranean Grill)

This morning the devil has been extremely busy. Causing intense frustrations and arguments since he knows I am back serving the Lord! But sitting in church with my family I am grateful for everything I have and everything that is to come. I can't let others get to me with their opinions etc. I also thank the generous person at Starbucks for purchasing my iced green tea!!! Great way to turn my morning around.
