Hi everyone! I’m running a small creative giveaway for roleplayers across Tumblr & Discord! This is part survey / part creative prompt, and part chance to win something custom made just for you.

— WHAT THIS IS

I’m gathering insights from roleplayers about what kinds of graphic resources, templates, and Google Docs they actually enjoy using (and what they wish existed). At the end of the survey, you’ll also get the chance to pitch a muse, concept, or “dream character/game idea” you’d love to see brought to life. ... a new TRAGEDYNOIR.

This year, I will be expanding my repertoire by creating new templates for other platforms. While I am shifting mediums, I am still dedicated to creating templates and resources for the writing & rp community. All my current resources & support for these templates will continue to be available — so fret not!

I intend to take the year to experiment with various different platforms, so do keep a look out! But for Ellipsus users... some things are coming to you really soon! 👀🤞

google doc alternatives survey

As you may know, Google has been named one of the targets for boycotts by the BDS. Although completely de-googling may be difficult, I'd love to start divesting my time and energy towards creating resources for other platforms as well to help people make the move!

This survey is a way for me to understand what are some of the biggest alternative players to Google docs that people are using to this end.

DESCRIPTION:

I'm extra nostalgic about this one because it's the first document I ever made, years ago, finally seeing the light of day! (Or, if the character is a vampire, the dark of night.) This is a seven-page Google Doc template designed to be used for a single muse. It is oriented around your character being a supernatural creature, but these sections are easily amenable to having other information in them instead.

Complexity Level: I would rank it as medium? Hard to say without more experience on here, but that seems right.

DESCRIPTION:

This is a whopping fourteen-page Google Doc template designed to be used for a single muse. Did I get carried away? One might say…absolutely. But for those of us who are yappers and still want a pretty lil template to house the mountains of words that spew out when we get excited about a new character…well, here we are. On the other hand, this can be very easily slimmed down for those who want a more streamlined approach. It was a laborous endeavour, but one of love!

Complexity Level: It's definitely toeing the line of a bit difficult haha.
