i’m mentally exhausted and in the midst of my soa/mayans hyperfixation so i’m mostly on @/wldflwerhoney at the moment but i’m around on discord for plotting

     ❛     𝒊  𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕  𝒖𝒏𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅  𝒊𝒕  𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆.     ❜     voice  is  quiet  as  she  sets  the  vase  down  on  neji’s  bedside  table:     still  hospitalized  following  the  failed  mission  to  rescue  sasuke,     the  mission  tenten     &     ino  didn’t  get  to  join.     ❛     𝒘𝒉𝒚  𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒖  𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕  𝒂𝒔𝒌  𝒖𝒔  𝒕𝒐  𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒑,     𝒚𝒐𝒖  𝒌𝒏𝒐𝒘?     ❜     both  women  were  stubborn  to  a  fault,     &     the  blonde  had  just  assumed  that  shikamaru  didn’t  want  the  arguments:     but  she  knows  better  now,     seeing  how  everybody  returned  nearing  their  deathbeds.     she  understands  now.     ❛     𝒉𝒆  𝒘𝒂𝒔  𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈  𝒖𝒔.     𝒉𝒆  𝒌𝒏𝒆𝒘  𝒉𝒐𝒘  𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒔  𝒊𝒕  𝒘𝒂𝒔  𝒈𝒐𝒏𝒏𝒂  𝒃𝒆     &     𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏'𝒕  𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕  𝒖𝒔  𝒕𝒐  𝒈𝒆𝒕  𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕.     ❜     but  this  hurts  more,     doesn’t  it?     watching  her  brother     &     friends  lay  in  hospital  beds,     not  knowing  if  they’d  survive  or  not  was  the  worst  pain  she’d  ever  known.     blue  eyes  are  teared  up  as  she  finally  looks  at  tenten,     &     maybe  a  part  of  her  blames  herself  for  being  so  weak.    but  seeing  neji,     who  was  so  strong  laying  helpless,     she  hates  herself  for  being  RELIEVED  that  she  wasn’t  on  that  mission.     the  guilt  is  unbearable,     &     perhaps  that’s  why  she’s  bringing  them  all  flowers.     ❛     𝒉𝒆'𝒍𝒍  𝒃𝒆  𝒐𝒌𝒂𝒚.     𝒉𝒆  𝒉𝒂𝒔  𝒕𝒐  𝒃𝒆.     ❜
