I'm a bit ashamed but I haven't watched that many movies this year; I tried to go more often to cinema this year compared to 2024, so most of these are from this year x') The only "older" movies I really enjoyed are these:

Looking at my movie list from this year, I realized that almost all of my fav movies are animated movies though :DD that was such an amazing year in that regard; Kimetsu no Yaiba, Legend of Hei 2, Zootopia 2, Arco....

But my two favs of 2025 are definitely these:

I'm ashamed to say I didn't watch many old movies this year, I can't remember watching many movies at all (need to change that in 2026)!

But I watched and liked this 2023 movie (it was a rec for TSHD fans): Monster. And also! Atonement (2007).

I also watched a 1998 brazilian miniseries that I loved (does it count?): Hilda Hurricane. It's Cinderella story with a twist. The forbidden romance between a priest and a woman from the red light district.
