“Stop worrying about the potholes in the road and enjoy the journey.” ⛵️ 💙 ~ Barbara Hoffman 🌱 Ah, the “life is a journey” metaphor. Some love it and some are tired of it - yah, yah. Quite the journey. 🌎 Personally, I like it. Pre-pandemic, I was travelling a lot. Before the world shut down, I had travelled within Canada, Ethiopia, Australia and New Zealand. This was within the first three months of 2020, which was lovely and intense. ✈️ Although I haven’t been on a plane since - adventures continue. Life continues. Like many, it’s given me a chance to explore my home province more and neighbours (when allowed). And it’s a beauty! Last week, we drove up to Gimli for Kris’s Fish & Chips (local caught pickerel / walleye 🐟) and walked along the wharf. The water, the boats, the artwork - so pretty. We paddled our SUPs over to these little falls. 🏄‍♀️ It was a crazy hot day, and a friend suggested saying we’d likely have company. In the end, we had this little slice of nature heaven to ourselves. 🥰💐🎒

Quick Gear Talk - I have had my Surftech SUP board for a few years now and love it. Bought it at a Wilderness Supply rental equipment sale. We used to rent all the time and decided it was worth having our own. The dry bag is @mec and has never let us down. (Even when our puppy has dumped us out of the canoe a few times. 😂)
