Everyday uaf glazers prove time and time again that the either don't watch the show or just give it blind praise cuz I saw this dude talk about how if he had to pick any of the prime omnitrix devices he'd pick the ultimatrix cuz it looks the coolest and he'll get ultimate forms and it's the best or whatever and he stated that he doesn't know why anyone would pick the completed omnitrix.
Then the comments flood to tell him that the ultimatrix is buggy, unreliable, the ultimate forms don't do jack,is easily hacked, easily removable and does not have any of the life support options or failsafes that the completed omnitrix or prototype omnitrix has.
Then he makes another video talking about how the ultimatrix just looks the coolest and the ov omnitrix is a "dumb apple watch" or whatever and how fans jumped him for having a preference.
And I'm like man you can just say you like the ultimatrix more while acknowledging that it's literally the worse omnitrix device like Azmuth calls it an "inferior copy" and "shoddy craftmanship." It is canonically the shittiest version THATS THE WHOLE POINT!!
And there are niggas in the comments defending his take and I'm like man the show disproved your take multiple times!!? Like what are we talking about here?
Honestly, I both agree and disagree with you. Im mostly saying this cause i think the evolution Sim could be very useful in a dire situation, and I just like the 'boom, mega evolution' of it, big gimmick fan admittedly.
I agree that the standard final product omnitrix is the best pick, but I find myself leaning towards the Ultimatrix for one fact, you could upgrade it. And I don't just mean use Upgrade like in the reboot, I mean turn into Grey matter or Brainstorm, and just... fix the bugs? Ben never seemed to attempt this, except in the reboot, and when he did in the original series(OS, AF, UA, and OV) he didn't use his aliens, he had others do it, like Kevin, or Blukich and Driba. (Also change the Ultimate Sim to something safer rather then War World for a Million years. Like a Yearly Olympics? And the Gold, silver, and bronze winners have higher chances to reproduce? I mean, very eugenics, yeah, but add certain rules like unsportsmanlike being punished, and encouraging Good Sportsmanship like conduct, along with the events being very tailored for the species in question while also applying additional events, and I feel it'd be a very good ultimate alternative.
Again, Final Omnitrix better choice, but I like this as my answer.
...and I'd try to make my own version of the Omni-kix feature, like I said, I like gimmicks, and that one does serve a very important function, Environmentally protection, for when an environment is to hostile in nature, either from the environment itself, or the creatures/Locals.
Kinda personal ‘Screw You’ of the Chauqetrix AU because I do have a bias or two including but not limited to “Don’t write a harem AU for the 10 year old” and my general dislike of too-feminized female alien designs
Br-Omnitrix (Bro-Omnitrix, hehe. Discord friend called it the Chadtrix) where, yeah, Ben is summoning aliens but they’re more like cloned beings based off his DNA and relative personality. Like having a twin but they’re the alien he picks out, which inkeeps with the “Walk a mile in other lifeforms shoes” bit in making a life form basically just like you but a different species as a practice in empathy.
All that changes is that Ben is summoning these aliens (duh) and they actually appear his age and not mostly grown up like they do in Classic, just having his personality and a simulated life like the Ultimates did— basically making each of them a “What if Ben was a (example alien)?” all rolled into the same au.
Zs’Skayr still starts taking over Ghostfreaks transformation but it’s more like seeing a sibling turn into a person you don’t know and that transformation functionally dying to release Zs’Skayr when he breaks out. (You know that jerk is abusing the emotional leverage of the “Don’t hurt me, I’m still in here!” cliche)
And other tidbits from the talk is Ben running around with Julie chasing after Big Chill wondering what the hell is happening to him and if he’s losing another friend/Clone-brother (to include Feedback with Ghostfreak) only to see his kinda-cloned-niece/nephews pop out of a metal nest and Big Chill comes out of the maternal instincts like “Dude, I honestly did not know this would happen”
Angst and comedy potential, roll and run with it, I am never touching Chauqetrix with a 50 foot stick. Just, do as you please with my thoughts
I was also going to say “Ben-Kai Watch AU” but that’s just a ship name and would not immediately make people think “Yo-Kai Watch AU” but that’s, it’s also in the thought process
I wanted to put together an entire "where they are now" list for Sonic's friends, to fill in some context for what they're doing! This also doubles as a rough timeline for the five months Sonic was gone for;
Tails took his biplane and is now traveling the world! At the time Sonic is on Angel Island, he's stopped off in Spagonia to sit in on some of the college classes. He doesn't know that Sonic was missing. No one told him.
Amy is also traveling the world, having taken Sticks and Cream with her like she said she would. Is currently in Chun-nan helping Whispangle look for Mimic. They were all informed a few months ago that Sonic has been away for a while and to keep an eye out for him, but they don't consider this anything to be worried about yet. After all, Sonic is known to run off sometimes.
Knuckles was also informed at that time that Sonic was missing, and was worried, but didn't go out and look due to his job as the Master Emerald's guardian. He was more than a little relieved when Sonic showed up on Angel Island, and is happy to help with Zip after Sonic spent all that time alone.
Jewel and Lanolin were some of the first people to realize Sonic hadn't been seen in a while, about two months after he went into hiding. They told Whispangle, who told Amy. Lanolin sent word to the Chaotix to look into it. The Chaotix then told Shadow and Rouge, who told Knuckles.
Along with Vanilla, the Chaotix started looking into Sonic's disappearance on Lanolin's request. They couldn't find any evidence of foul play, but they enlisted Shadow and Rouge to help look. Right now Sonic is more on the backburner as they're looking into Starline, Mimic, and Clutch.
Since two months ago, GUN has officially labeled Sonic as a missing person's case, which was notable because Sonic's vigilantism was a huge part of the Eggman Pest Control, and now Eggman has become more of a hassle to the wider public. Shadow and Rouge are busy doing GUN missions, which mostly include foiling Eggman and looking for Starline, but they try to look for Sonic wherever they can. They're the ones that told Knuckles when they checked Angel Island.
Blaze has been busy ruling in the Sol Dimension since before Sonic Forces. She visited once about a month ago and teamed up with Shadow and Rouge for a GUN mission, so she knows Sonic hasn't been seen in a while. She trusted that Sonic was okay, but thought it was strange he'd been gone for so long. She had to go back to the Sol Dimension to take care of a few things, but she'll be back soon to see if Sonic came back yet.
Silver has been busy in the Future all this time, having left just after the Metal Virus. (It should be noted that Sonic had Zip quietly, so Zip isn't officially documented as his son. So it's not documented in the Future, and Silver wouldn't know.) He'll come back to the Past soon for a visit.
Surge and Kit: ?
Jet caught wind about Sonic being a missing person about two months ago. Has been very busy competing in races all over the world and is pretending he doesn't care, but he has been keeping an eye out for a flash of blue in the crowd.
Mighty was last seen in Mazuri with Ray about a year and a half ago. Much like Sonic, you can only find Mighty when he wants to be found.
Eggman, Metal, and Sage have been sweeping the world's social network since Sonic went into hiding. Are all extremely frustrated that they can't find him. Metal is on the field and Sage keeps an eye on the internet for Sonic's IP address, which he barely even has to begin with.
Starline is extremely interested in finding Sonic ever since GUN declared him a missing person. Starline knows Eggman doesn't have him, so Sonic must be hiding on purpose, which means there's something he doesn't want Eggman to know about. Starline is piggybacking off Eggman's surveillance system AS WELL as the Chaotix's and GUN's, and has two fields agents out looking for him (Surge and Kit).
Is Zip 100% hedgehog? If Zip wasn't, would traits of the other species start to show through later or would it be like Archie where they just look fully like one parent's species?
The way I see cross-species kids between mobians is that they'll generally take the species of one parent, the Archie way, but they might exhibit some behaviors and/or physical attributes from the other parent's species. (A shorthair gray cat and a longhair brown dog might have a longhair brown cat who barks sometimes.)
In Zip's case, he's a hedgehog like Sonic! And it looks like Sonic's fur color ended up winning over the other parent, too! Whether or not Zip has other species behavior or if he's 200% Hedgehog is a good question!! You won't know just by looking at him!
I headacanon that cross species mobian children are born as the species as the parent they are the gender of. Much like Future Sally and Futute sonic's kids Sonia and Manic were a Female Chipmunk and male Hedgehog
He only told Knuckles! No one else knows yet. This is maybe five-ish months after Sonic Frontiers (because of the voice drop, I like to hc that there's a time skip. They're all new adults, except for Tails who is a teenager)
I’m guessing if anyone, Mighty and Ray are gonna be the next ones to find out about Zip? I imagine they visit Knuckles semi regularly. Either them or Rouge.
Rouge and Shadow both, by happenstance! Rouge and Shadow extend their patrols to Angel Island sometimes in case Knuckles needs anything, and they try to keep him updated on the news on the ground below.
Their visit had good timing! *points* Missing person. And BABY.
So, follow-up for the comic about Shadow and Rouge, they know where Sonic is, and that he has a baby, but how do they react upon actually seeing the child? I imagine Rouge as the kinda rich aunt trope, fussing over Zip and planning to spoil him rotten. Idk about Shadow, but either way! Fun!

Rouge is over the MOON. A WHOLE BABY SONIC. She wants to terrorize the kid with affection but not before she terrorizes Sonic with affection first. She can only imagine he's been through a lot these past few months. He's still in trouble for dropping off the face of the earth though <3
Shadow is extremely wary at first. He didn't really process the length of Sonic's disappearance to begin with so this feels like a huge change all at once. He wants to be supportive, but he has no idea where to begin.
You know... Since Onni is based on Thomas the Tank Engine (at least in his colors and, well, he's a train (lmao XD)), there's something very characteristic about him: he has always shown with his two passenger cars (Annie and Clarabel) (At least in most of the media).
So, would Onni also have two cars? (Besides, this isn't at all a way of giving Onni his Karen and Sophie versions, like, no way, not at all, hahaha XD)
What I do doubt is that the System gave these two "consciousness." It would be more of a nod to both of them, especially since Onni is the one who gives them those names.
(Also, a little idea that occurred to me while watching Metal Cardbot S: Blastrain is also a train capable of combining with its passenger cars to become a much larger and stronger robot. Sooooo i imagine Onni would have a similar ability to a Combiner with his two cars, perhaps a type of transformation that Onni only unlocks when he's already in his final upgrades, like the System be like: "Here have this two coaches you need them probably" hahaha...)

Onni is taller than Grimlock in his bipedal form by about a head. Brother is tall and would be very effective in battle if he was actually, y'know trained for it and not just good at scrapping xD

Honestly for Onni just having the angst potential of the rest of the bots realizing that ‘oh shit this is a spark/person being fully controlled by this world under threat of death/pain’. Or when getting closer to the end the system gives him a lie that he will be released with his own body to keep him cooperative. Only for him to discover it was a lie, and for him to have a massive argument in front of the others because he doesn’t care anymore, that they discover he is a ‘creation of this world’ he is going to die with the game anyway-
Please give me some angsty breakdown as the others try to figure out a way to get him out with them. As he deserves to be in a real body not being controlled as he has a spark-

Well, I've already rambled on the serious drama part so the extremely silly potential would be "I think Scorponok can be a good mech if he only gets the support and encouragement he needs :)" < Optimus, forgetting his people skills are awful when he's not Locked in. Scorponok having no relationships ever, thinks this means they are dating because Optimus doesn't always need something from him.
This misunderstanding takes forever to get resolved because they have friend/romance goggles on and somehow making it work.
