I’d have to find a pic but these are based on what was running on the train chandelier when the show opened in Germany. (Originally G gauge models!!) Now they have Greaseball as the Trans Europe Express? Sadly not a lot of documentation on them or the original West End trains for that matter since it’s not something people typically photograph!

And since when else am I gonna get a chance to bring these up, a few years ago someone sold a few engines that apparently ran around one of the bars at the Las Vegas Hilton. The eBay listing mentioned them being used as stage props so maybe they had a train running around before the show as well? Though I’ve never seen any evidence.

The race masks as far as I know only existed on the tours, mostly an excuse to hide the fact it would be different actors on stage and in the pre-recorded races.

I think Ceebert has one made for Dustin here? At least in the first US tour he gets a red bandana over his face like a train robber and I LOVE that.
