Dad, it’s been 10 years since you’ve been gone. I love you, and miss you. I cannot help but wonder what would have happened now if you were still here? Would you have been used, like I had; to financially support a narcissistic person? Would she have tried to make it work with me for as long as she did, just so I could keep paying for her life, fucking her and live for her vs myself? It’s been 10 years and I like to think that things rolled out the way they did because it was an act of love to release me from the hell I couldn’t escape ethically from. I know you lived in that misery too, not understanding why she couldn’t just talk to you. Avoid you when she stole from you. Dad I’ve learned a lot from you. Thank you. Rest easy.
