Twenty years ago, the only kind of cardio I found enjoyable was playing basketball. When I got into personal training in 2003, I forced myself to do the elliptical. If I was going to hold my clients accountable to it, I should hold myself accountable too.(Great for slimming the hips, by the way!) Later on I was introduced to HIIT, and I loved it. HIIT was challenging and over with quickly while also helping me get the kind of fat loss and cardio fitness results that I was craving. Now I do mostly HIIT because I still love to sweat hard and work hard, but I also mix in LISS from time-to-time to work on my endurance.
