The voice has matured...
Why does the title sound weird? ^^ It was inspired by the statement of MC Kim Seung Joo in the latest episode “King of Masked Singer”. Life is always full of the unexpected, rite? When Seung Yoon joined Superstar K in 2010, Kim Seung Joo was an MC in that show. Then, now they have reunited for a while though Seung Yoon got eliminated at the first round.
When WINNER debuted, I wished Seung Yoon would have had a solo song but he didn’t. During their 1st comeback, again that kind of expectation arose, and of course it wasn’t fulfilled. After WINNER experienced some struggles, I don’t have a kind of strong desire to see his solo performance on their recent comeback, though there is a subtle feeling. Well, surprisingly, I could listen to his solo performance on the show King of Masked Singer yesterday. It was a pity that he got eliminated so early in the first round. However, his rival indeed did so well. Like one of the panelist members stated, Tarot Man had a vibe of an experienced singer so he could did perform in a relaxed manner and controlled the pace in his own style. Meanwhile, Yoonie was in his energetic and youthful mood to show a different aura while singing his part. It was right that a panelist member felt Fan Guru aka Seung Yoon had a young voice and would be just in early 20s...
After the performance, Seung Yoon shared some thoughts. He thought people wouldn’t recognize his voice (haha, baby, you couldn’t hide) and thought it would be fun. Because of these, he could sing freely and enjoy his performance. It is undeniable that this relaxed mind made him overpower his voice in this song. The lyrics of Wi ing Wi ing reflected a self-expression of someone in their life, facing the depression. So it is agreed that Tarot Man professionally handled this song in a narrative way as if he is a story-teller, pouring sad lines by his sweet voice into people’s ears. In contrast, Yoonie did show his own explanation about the song. Seung Yoon expressed his powerful narration of the song. I guess he interpreted the song by his experience (we all know Seung Yoon has been through many hardship though he is young). Therefore, the style Seung Yoon performed brought some kinds of self-support despite those sad things. So when you listen to the song again and again, you could feel something sweet & soft like a cotton candy but subtly soaked in melancholy from Tarot Man’s part. In the meantime, you could somehow get the feeling of a young man little by little stepping in the life in a gloomy mood but striving against by himself...
Finally, it’s relieved to hear that Yoonie had a good time of having his solo performance there. You will have more opportunities to show your amazing voice in the future as a soloist, an artist, Yoonie. Thank you so much for your attractive performance, hugging warmly our hearts by your voice.
[Random] Leave and Stay
When I started my journey to Japan 1 year ago, I was excited with a lot of plans, including fangirl dreams. One of them was to attend a concert where Winner with 5 members would perform together. I have never had a chance to see them in reality, with WT5. When I was in my home country, I followed their news and updates through other fan-accounts, about their tours in Japan. However, when I am here, I read a sad news about Taehyun’s departure. I respect his choice as I know I am not in his situation, I am not him and I also do not have any right to criticize his decision. Instead, I feel pity for a group full of potentials. They have visuals, talents and many promising characteristics of stars to shine in the showbiz as a unique group. Unfortunately, one member has left when the group has just been together for 3 years.
When the news was released, apart from feeling sad, I have had another mixed feeling about my bias, Yoonie. He’s the leader of Winner, who will surely get some or even many negative comments from several or many fans. I understand in such a situation, not all fans of Winner will have a supportive attitude. As a leader, Yoonie will have to face challenges and criticism if there is. I used to think that if there is something not fine with Winner, I hope all of them, 5 boys, will leave YG and set up together in another company or other place. I used to imagine that they would be like Shinhwa. Or at least, Like BEAST, after a member left, the remaining members set up another company with their own brand name. Unfortunately, that’s just illusion as we have to realize a harsh reality.
Well, Yoon’s situation is different. He is the only child with her mother. Both of them have experienced a lot of difficulties from the past till now. It is not easy for a mother at such a late age to raise and support her son till his debut. Yoonie has to carry a lot of burdens and responsibility on his shoulder. Let’s imagine, you are just a fresh graduate at 22-23, you have to find a job with much stress. It is indeed a terrible feeling if you cannot support yourself financially while you witness other peers get employment, better places than you. Furthermore, you have to take care of a family member so what will you do, without a stable job, without enough finance? Caring his mother, pursuing his career at the same is not easy for such a young man at early 20s. You cannot blame him on his decision to stay. Who will bear these responsibilities if Yoonie leaves the group disbanded? Noone. Moreover, the other members, the other brothers in Winner have been through so much hardship of a trainee life, a deadly survival show to debut with just little comeback, compared to other group. Will the leader leave them disbanded as well? So when we are not be able to be in their shoes, we cannot give any serious complaints. Therefore, I suppose he cannot leave, but choose to stay.
Despite the criticism about why the group does not disband, instead of keeping 4 members, I think the other 4 boys have agreed to stay. They choose to stand by each other, because of their Winner spirit, their Inner Circles. Yoonie used to answered in an interview about Winner’s album “I’m also thankful to our fans since they have waited for so long.” It could be due to their hope to keep the group, the name, which 5 boys used to fight together, overcome a lot of obstacles with blood and tears. It could be due to their belief about the future. Winner may not be the same as previous WT5, but will keep bringing bright color music to us, inspiring us as well as expressing their passion towards music. We cannot predict exactly when current Winner and Taehyun will reunite but who knows in the future.
One of the fansite names I really like is Time will tell. Yes, we have to be patient. Following these boys from their beginning days at Win show, I will support their choice.

MAMA 2014: a totally disappointment
Well, these year-end days tend to be in race with deadlines but I did not want to miss MAMA due to Winner's participation >.< Yesterday, I even brought extra work later at home in order to catch Winner's moments & some performances on MAMA. But it was a totally disappointment!!! Overall, I haven't seen any special stages or impressed so much by MAMA 2014.
For Winner, I expected to have seen some well-prepared stages on MAMA as in Melon. Hul!? Nothing unique or charming happened apart from a short performance of Empty & a short feat by Mino - which was not enough to satisfy Inner-circles' desire after their unflagging efforts in voting (for more than 30 days), anticipating a lot... In addition, the cameramen seemed not to do his duty properly when Winner's faces were not in sync with their singing. For example, while listening to Yoonie's voice, I have not seen clearly his face on the camera. Humh!!!
During other performances, the seconds of Winner's appearance on the camera was also limited TT__TT Not to mention, some award-winning categories & other stuffs were not satisfactory! What a boring and degrading award!
Winner's reactions at Melon Music Award 2014: best!
The "withdrawal symptom" of Winner at Melon Music Award has yet ended when watching master-nims' fancams made me giggle so much.
First, Winner boys are indeed well-mannered when they bow and greet people well & behave so politely. Once they watched other artists' performance, they mostly showed their positive reactions such as applauding, singing along. When other seniors get nominated and awards, they clapped hands actively, then cheered like fangirls :D
Second, their friendliness should be appreciated. Well, it may be uncomfortable for some YG fans when I state this ^^". In general, YG artists often give off a cool feeling - sometimes it looks distant for others to approach and make a conversation at these awards. Meanwhile, Winner may be an exception when they managed to talk to other seniors around, instead of staying still or being passive. They way they smiled and exchange greetings, then chatted with some seniors looked comfortable and natural without making people feel they were trying hard or pretending. Well, it could be professionally considered a kind of broadening network, which is always necessary in a career and relationship, regardless of fields =D Kidding ~ Anyway, it's nice to see them interact with other artists & make more friends in the future.
Last but not least, as It's the first time for Winner to participate a music award, then their reactions were cute & sociable. When it comes to Taeyang, I agreed that the best reaction award should be gifted to Winner boys =D Obviously, the receiver *Taeyang* looked indifferent and calm while his fanboys aka Winner sitting around were excited as they won themselves the first place in a quiz contest ~ In addition, it reminds me about youth and freshness - which many music awards probably would like to bring to the public, connecting people. I'm not sure, in upcoming years, becoming seniors, when they join other music awards, their reactions change or not - cool, calm and collected. But indeed, the memories about their performances and participation this time will be cherished in my fangirl heart. Currently with many pressurized stuffs and burdens in daily life, sometimes we feel discouraged. But I think, maybe, thanks to their appearance in our fangirl list, their music comforts us to some extent (of course, excluding something related to who-we-know :))
Winner's performances at Melon Music Award 2014: amazing!
Every year, Melon Music Award does not attract me much, apart from YG artists' participation. This year is not an exception. However, I felt a little more excited because it is the first time for Winner to join a year-end music award as a rookie.
Although Winner is considered one of the Monster Rookies this year (along with AkMu), I haven't expected they would be given a special stage ^^ Surprisingly, not only they got a special stage but also solo stages were shown. Some non-fans or antis would complain why a rookie was given such a priority but I would not care. Let's enjoy their performances - which haven't ceased mesmerizing me since yesterday. Ah, I like the concept of puppet at the introduction video - which would be fun to interpret, depending on each perspective :P
1. Solo stages
Woa, Seung Hoon was the first to set fire on the stage. I knew he got experience of performing solo once he took part in Kpop-star. But this time, he stood on the stage as a professional artist instead of a candidate - that's a noticeable difference! Seung Hoon indeed brought a fresh feeling to the stage when he performed so naturally & stirred the atmosphere in such a short time.
The second surprise to my mind was the first solo performance of Jinwoo on such a big stage. Once listening to the initial sound of the guitar, I used to thought that would be Seung Yoon but it turned out JW. There is no need to decorate his stage due to the appearance of such a handsome & cute boy as Jinwoo singing along with the acoustic version of Don't Flirt - which is also his favourite song. What impressed me much is his confident stage presence when it was the first time he performed alone without Winner members, especially on a music award, in front of many fans & other artists. I thought some JW bias would be nervous when they saw their baby singing there but he really did a great job. Wonderfully, Jinwoo handled the performance and gave off a charming aura.
When it comes to the stage of Taehyun, I supposed many fangirls' attention was arrested by the scene he hugged a female model ^^ Looking on the bright side, Namtae managed to show a sexy performance along with his appealing singing. Maybe for I used to see my bias Yoonie kissing in his MV (Stealer), I did not feel so shocked at Namtae's stage ^^
Once I heard the voice of Yoonie, I was so moved by his singing in Rock. Yoonie is really cut out for Rock - his spirit, voice, presence are incredibly powerful to me :) Previously, in Winner's tour in Japan, some fans wished that he should have had a proper solo stage - then now it is granted for a while. Despite the short performance, I found it so delightful for Yoon to rock on the stage. Indeed, he was born to be a star ^^
The ending of solo stages belonged to Mino with "I'm Him". Of course, he made a good stage. Though he only sang a little part of "I'm Him", Mino surely attracted the audience a lot with his style & everyone feels the beat ~.
What I really like, regarding the arrangement of Winner from solo stages to the group performance, is its concept. In which, each of member gets his color in music & potential individual characteristics as a soloist. When we look them separately, we can distinguish them - no one is fuzzy in this picture. Moreover, when all these five colors come to the group, they contribute to the complete, without losing their nature.
2. Group stage - Empty performance
It is not the first time we have listened to Empty but it would be regarded one of the most memorable stages related to Empty. In reality, listening to a song or watching a performance without a new stuff, we tend to feel bored soon. However, Winner has invested themselves into the song & performance in order to gasp the audience's attention. In which, we have realized the modification of the song while its sketch is not changed totally. Please give applause to these guys when they are able to manage the balance between being creative and following the discipline. Furthermore, no need to swag to stir the stage when Winner boys keep their elegance, sophistication at the same time with captivating people's heart, singing along with them. Therefore, even though listening to an old song, the audience will not feel fed up with it; instead get eager for it.
Interestingly, they have debuted since last August but many people do not think them as a rookie due to their talent, confidence, style, charms... - some of which are inborn, some of which have undergone serious survival & practice in tears & pains. Winner yah, your journey has started and a long path is still waiting for you guys. Fighting ~
Last not least, keep voting for Winner at MAMA & look forward to their performance there.

Random thoughts about Lee Seung Hoon's choreography & his will
Before having lunch =D, I came up with something about Seung Hoon and would like to write about him.
Well, I still recalled the moment I was amazed by the choreography in the final battle when Winner performed together. I replayed their performance clip and fancam countless times after the show ended. Because their dance, the meaning, the arrangement... are so emotionally attractive that I can't take off my eyes ~ Indeed, Seung Hoon is so talented with his bank of ideas and dancing skills.
When Winner debuts, I have expected to see Seung Hoon's choreography because they will surely add dancing to their stage performances. Once Empty dance is revealed, I find it fun and also adored Hoon's arrangement. Recently, I read the translation about his sharing of Empty dance in Tablo radio - their hand moves in Empty is called fallen leaves dance. Finally, I can understand its meaning and find it so artistic. It depicts a picture in which a guy with his emptiness when he was reminiscent of many past happy memories with his girlfriend, the falling leaves add the sadness and loneliness to the scene. I also admire Hoon's symbolic ideas conveyed passionately in his dancing instead of showing off their dance blankly.
Regarding Don't Flirt, Hoon again shows his talent of making choreography. The song is reggae beat & super catchy, which could stir the atmosphere when performing on stage or in front of a crowd. Though it is unpleasant to hear that Seung Hoon did not get paid extra for his choreography, it could be comforting that he is doing sth he desires. The dance of Don't Flirt brings joy to not only Winner boys but also the audience. I think even a quiet observer will make slight moves along with their dancing while listening to the songs or will smile from ears to ears while watching their performance.
Previously mentioned in another entry, the choreography is useful for the others when a member is singing. So you won’t have to see a scene in which each Winner member steps forward to sing their line while others are standing still, doing nothing apart from holding their mic. Instead, thanks to the choreography, the stage is full of moderate moves to cover the “dead” space. Even not all members are specially good at dancing, they can implement it properly. Then, I really like his choreography because it connects all members in the performance & support others.
Some days ago, we worried about Seung Hoon's health condition when he fell off the concert stage in Singapore and hurt his back. Because of it, he was advised not to move frequently but he managed to join Sketchbook and danced, kept spreading his charm & fun to others. Again, I read another piece of his interview, in which he went filming alone in the early morning for their MV. In the official MV, we all see a beautiful scene of Hoon falling into the water and drowning beautifully like an aritstic movie scene. However, to have such a wonderful take, Hoon experienced the fear and difficulties of the 5m depth, pressure of water on his body, lack of oxgyen. Then, Hoon is indeed a strong-willed person when he overcame the obstacles, showing his professionalism and giving his best shots. These Winner boys never fail to make me surprised and inspired by their stories. Attn to YG, he should have appreciated this group so much but...
P/S: Yoonie babe, as you're my bias, then sometimes I take it for granted and haven't written much about you, maybe next time :D Let's keep watching Winner's Empty MV to increase the views - an important factor contributing to their potential rookie award at the end of the year ^^
Hi there! Thank you for sharing about Nam Taehyun's left ear, if it's wasn't because of you I wouldn't have known. My ultimate bias in Winner is Taehyun so I always focus on him more whenever I watch Winner/WIN TV and Winner's performances. Once I saw he kept trying to fix his in-ear monitors when he was performing, it's like he couldn't hear properly from his In-ear monitors and now I know the reason why. Thank you! ^^
You're welcome :) Though my bias is Seungyoon, I have also paid attention to others including Taehyun - he gives off an irresistible aura. I feel every time I know something additionally about him, the more I am interested in him. When I read this fact through his sharing in Winner's interview, I went from surprise to respect and then be inspired by such a young guy for his strong will & talent. Let's support him and Winner further ^^
Random thoughts about Nam Tae Hyun's recent sharing
Today, after reading the fact about his left ear, I was so emotional that I made a sketch about him. Coincidentally, I have realized the side which I drew him was the left TT___TT Actually, I did not plan to write an entry about his sharing because I think we may understand well his situation, but the emotion insists on...I just write something to release this kind of feeling before going to sleep for tomorrow's work :__:
Like many fans, I think Taehyun's sharing does not seek any pity from people. Because if it was, he would have stated it in the sensitive period of WIN - to attract more public sympathy, more voting. No, he did not that kind of thing. By contrast, Taehyun managed to hide it well, playing fair in the competition and almost none of fans knew his left ear issue until today.
What I felt emotional is his simply sharing but inspirational & encouragement line for everyone. I recalled in WinnerTV - in which, Tae Hyun got the right answwer for the question “Who is the father of music and the mother of music” - The father is Bach and the mother is Handel. In addition, he added the when he was young, his mom let him listen to much of Handel’s music. At that time, I was amazed by his knowledge about music and his listening to Handel’s music during his childhood. When connecting with the share today, I do not know it is illusory or not, Taehyun may have suffered the left ear's hearing impairment from the childhood but his passion towards the sound and the music keeps growing till now. We all have personal flaws which could keep us from pursuing doing some things, even preventing us from reaching our dreams. But Taehyun has shown us a strong image of a young guy, at the age of 20-21 - he has kept going on his chosen path. Despite his flaw, not being able to hear properly by the left ear, he is able to compose songs with charming melodies, captivating many fangirls' heart.
After reading his share, I did not go searching anything about him on Twitter or Facebook. I would like to keep a peaceful day when my tweet list is also clean with supports towards him. I guess there would be some or even many bashing or dissing this because haters will gonna hate. If there is, we could press the button "block" or "report" them on Twitter/Facebook, to avoid further any unnecessary war - which would consume our precious time. For haters/antis/immature fans of..., making fun of anyone's disability is terrible and disgusting - just remember there is a causality in the life. Recently, though Winner has proved their confirmed beautiful and attractive voices through the cover of Missing You on Sketchbook, some even dumbly rejected the fact and doubted whether there was an autotune mics =D Observing some fan conflicts some years ago, I think it had better stand by our favorites instead of wasting energy talking against antis. Let's give more love towards Taehyun in particular and Winner boys in general. All of them have their own harsh stories before being in a group as Winner. As we know, they have never given up and always trying their best to reach today. Then, I was reminded about the name of a Korean fansite - Time Will Tell - yes, time will give us the answer who has done better and achieved something after our unflagging efforts.
A Compliment about the latest cover of Missing You by Winner (Sketchbook 19.09.2014)
Among posts about Winner, I have written several "random" entries, then sometimes think whether I should change the title of blog into a random blog =D Tonight, it may be the first time that my random entry is named "a compliment..." because they did such a more wonderful cover than expected.
<http://youtu.be/yUhDO-M7-f4> The cover of Missing You by Winner on YHY Sketchbook
Along with my brother, who does not like Kpop, I watched Sketchbook program as scheduled. Because I read fanaccounts about their pre-recording for Sketchbook with 2 songs (one in their album - Empty & one cover - Missing You), I did not have high expectation of the show. Due to Winner's appearance, I planned to watch normally. However, when the show was aired, it changed my mind. Firstly, the performance of Empty surprised my younger brother so much that he praised they are so excellent with falsetto. He wondered how come boys can reach it. Then, my younger brother laughed so hard when we watched Hoon's dancing. Once Winner performed Missing You, I was wowed and listened to their song with full attention. Again, my brother complimented the song is so nice and I was amazed by their cover. Previously, I listened to their cover in WinnerTV and found it rather good. Though the parts of Jinwoo voice & Hoon rap at that time caused some controversies, I rated it highly overall.
This time, I totally agreed with my friend giditopi that they have upgraded and all are better. In which, their arrangement sounds more impressive than previous version. In addition, the vocals & rapping have made their progress, espcially Jinwoo and Hoon. Jinwoo voice in this version softens soothingly but charms more & Hoon rapping is so good. Mino rapping, Seung Yoon vocal, Taehyun vocal are clearly up in term of improvement. When it comes to their harmonization, I was so content. It cannot be denied that their harmonization is beautiful, especially for such a rookie. Besides, I would like to compliment about the stage presence of Winner - they look gradually comfortable in shows - practice makes perfect ^^ Ah, for Yoonie, I always love this boy in the scene of playing guitar & singing passionately.
To sum it up, I would like to listen a studio version of this cover. Hope YG will release it sometime ~
P/S: I hope these guys will protect their voice & stay healthy with proper rest (which seems impossible due to their hectic schedule :() Because in radio show today, I see Yoon coughed a lot before singing Empty live :( But he managed to perform live and pretended to act cute in order to hide his enduring cough =.= Such a dedicated person, Yoonie yah! Look forward to the eng sub of both Radio and Sketchbook.
Random thoughts about KangNam duet "Like white clouds" in Japan (11/09/2014)
Today is another date full of mixed feelings for Inner Circles. Before the concert - yes, their first concert at Zepp Tokyo, first official concert in Japan, there was frustration against someone's silly action & discrimination, during the concert and after the concert, there should be surely many waves of emotions for fangirls. Unfortunately, I can only update these things after a busy day with a lot of workload TT__TT
I read on twitter that Seungyoon & Namtae got a duet and there was a shared clip of this song (not the fancam). Based on the song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S-l-uIKtt0) "Like white clouds" - according to the fanaccount (may be a different song from my finding ^^ I do not ensure it is the right song till we have any fancam to confirm), I found out the lyrics and indeed nearly got teary because of the lyrics. Somehow, it looks like Winner's current situation.
(Source of lyrics: http://shinitakashi.blogspot.com/2010/01/shimatani-hitomi-shiroi-kumo-no-you-ni.html)
Lyrics: Fumiya Fujii Music: Naoyuki Fujii Arrangement: Yasuaki Ide Gazing at the clouds that go far off You whisper, "They're just like us." We're dreaming of a future we can't see Collecting our pocket coins You whisper, "Let's go as far as we can." We're spreading out a map we can't see Those tears we shed when frustrated And the evening sun that sinks in the depths of your eyes They're both treasures that shine when you shut your eyes Blown by the wind, they disappear Our footprints Blown by the wind, they disappear Like the white clouds Blown by the wind, they disappear Our footprints Blown by the wind, they disappear Like the white clouds Like the white clouds Like the white clouds Gazing at the clouds that go far off You whisper, "They're just like us." We're dreaming of a future we can't see We're dreaming of a future we can't see Like the white clouds
Why do I feel the lyric reminiscent of Winner's current situation? Because they have debuted for one month but YG did not appreciate what they have achieved, did not have a proper promotion which Winner should have had. Instead, YG is crazy in spreading news, promotion about the other team. Personally, I do not care the other team but feel angry on YG's actions. So after such things, I just focus on Winner's debut and future activities because I have been waiting for them since WIN started and ended, like many fangirls of WIN era.
The song draws a picture in which youngsters have been pursuing their dream so long. However, they felts as if they are similar to those clouds on the sky, floating without knowing whether they can get the goal or not. Despite difficulties, they bet their life into this path towards the future - their goals, even spreading a map they cannot see. Likewise, before becoming Winner, 5 trainees Kang Seungyoon, Nam Taehyun, Song Mino, Kim Jinwoo, Lee Seunghoon with different background stories underwent their trainee period together, then had to experience a severe survival show. In that show, someone stated that if a team lost, they would disband immediately. So if 5 boys did not win, they would have to enlist or go somewhere.
When I read the part about the tears, I was reminded of the scenes in WIN - where our beloved boys made mistakes, felt depressed and pressurized. That has just made us see several situations of a trainee which almost experienced in 1 year, 2 years or even longer. I recalled in a variety show, an idol stated being a trainee is not a job coz it is a struggle against yourself. Such a risk. Therefore, if you cannot stand this life, you will quit painfully. And I know in general, not all trainees are lucky enough (after trying their best for many years) to be given a chance of debut. Their efforts could be totally erased, forgotten, like footprints disappearing by the wind.
The lyrics of this song is simple but moving. Winner, you guys, have a long way ahead so there will be also many obstacles awaiting on this bumpy road. So I hope you will be strong enough to overcome, gain more successes and become Winner - a unique Winner - no version of anyone - be yourselves with your own colours. Be happy with your music ~
P/s: If it is the song that KangNam made a duet, I wondered who chose it ^^
Random thoughts about Lee Seung Hoon and "Empty" Dance ver
Well, working on a holiday while people are enjoying their holiday is indeed not fun :)) But listening to Winner's songs may enlighten the mood for a while. So I was inspired to write something about Lee Seung Hoon's choreography in "Empty" dance version.
Actually, I won't interpret the detailed story in the dance because you guys may know it is mostly supportive towards the messages in the song. As we understand, the song is about emptiness which a guy felt when his beloved girl left. The morning he woke up, the street he walked down, the memories they used to have in the past are over, he realized they are not together anymore. The emptiness is around him everywhere. What I want to emphasize is Seung Hoon's impressive skill in setting moves for the song. Initially, I thought if Winner performed this song on stages, they would stand still like a ballad group - but to be honest, it would looks a bit awkward if they do that ^^
When I saw their first dance version, I felt a bit surprised. Gradually, I feel the advantages of the dance for "Empty" while Winner is performing. Firstly, the choreography will be useful for the others when a member is singing. So you won't have to see a scene in which each Winner member steps forward to sing their line while others are standing still, doing nothing apart from holding their mic. It will be similar to a row of primary pupils going forward each by each to answer questions at a class :P Instead, thanks to the choreography, the stage is full of moderate moves to cover the "dead" space. Besides, it adds the artistic characteristics to their performance with their dance. Mentioning this, I recalled previous contemporary dances which I went to see - somehow it connects to Seung Hoon's ideas. Interestingly, he has made it into a friendly dance instead of too deep or complex or abstract moves. Therefore, even not all members are specially good at dancing, they can implement it properly. Well, I suppose it is a bonus to Seung Hoon when he considers the pros and cons of the group. So it will not only make them stand out in the future as it is not totally random or in a fixed pattern, but also outweigh their disadvantage of dancing. Furthermore, the way he arranges the dance made a good impression. Why? Because they would move around a member singing or stand or pose in a circle backwards, creating a solid back-up for the mentioned member. It looks like a shape of pentagon, somehow similar to a diamond - such a nice structure. It reminds me of some scenes of their dance in the final battle. In which, four members moved around backward and a member moved towards or four members moved around in a circle with a member in the center. Frankly speaking, I really like this type of Seung Hoon's idea because it connects all members in the performance, and everyone has their role, supporting each other, creating a whole group.
Indeed, Seung Hoon is so creative when he can come up with brilliant ideas and turn into practice.
