At the risk of any scrutiny, @braebraethefool and I have decided to ask for support in jump starting our lives together.
We are both full time students in helping professions. I am finishing out the last few months of my degree at a (unpaid) therapy internship in an acute care facility for children. This has left very little time to work as my only source of income is through my writing business that I can not designate much time to. Brae is in school full time completing their molecular biology degree, conducting (unpaid) research and preparing for nursing school.
Brae has decided to leave the DMV area to move down south to live with me! We have money to put toward this move, but the funds we are asking for will go to transporting their vehicle, transporting their belongings, household items, move-in fees, and any other payments we need to make along the way. Anything is helpful, and we hope to get as close to our goal as possible.

My name is Ezekiel. I am a 25 year old black trans non-binary individual. I have been a survival sex worker since I was 18 years due to my living situation. My mother and father are mentally, verbally and emotionally abusive towards me. Outright deadnaming me daily, disrespectful towards my identity and mental wellbeing and transphobic. My father is also an alcoholic and living with him is and always has been dangerous.
I am raising funds to move myself out. Because of COVID19, my savings have diminished and I am unable to work. This is why the goal is set so high. That and my area is fairly expensive to live in, but I cannot travel just yet... Though it is in the future plans.
The funds include: Rent, food, medication and ongoing psychiatrist visits for a year and a half. Just long enough until I can move in with some trusted friends.
It has taken me a very long time to accept who I am because of the way I have been forced to live. I refuse to live with people who make my life harder, and who do not love, care or respect me. I have worked hard to get to where I am and to keep myself alive, I refuse to sit and waste away any longer.
I am calling on my community in my greatest time of need. With this fresh start, I will be able to open so many new doors, like getting my gender affirming surgery... Something I am unable to do under my parents roof. My life will change for the better.

My partner and I are strapped for cash at this point. We are applying for every resource we can and are waiting to see if its approved. Elyse was exposed at work at the end of June and we had to isolate for two weeks then, although we both tested negative. Recently we have both developed symptoms and are waiting on results of new tests.
Until we hear back from area 4, unemployment, and the other resources we've applied for we have no money. Elyse receives a small check on Wednesday that we will use to pay our phone and cable bill but we will not have much.
We are in desperate need of food, cat litter and food, medicine, and a way to pay our bills. If anyone can help us at all we would greatly appreciate it! Also if anyone has suggestions for resources in the Indiana area that would help.

Hello everyone!!! My partner (@800-dick-pics) and I (honeybearbutch)are a lesbian couple of color looking to finally establish safe stable and secure housing
My partner has faced unstable housing, cyclical homelessness and poverty their entire life, while in my case my abusive far right leaning (homophobic, transphobic, anti black) family has made my living situation mentally/emotionally unbearable and physically unsafe for years
We are currently weighing our options for apartments, sending emails, making supply lists and calculating costs. We are hoping to find a suitable place and have things organized and situated by August as this is urgent for both our mental health and overall safety
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were on track to finding much cheaper housing in my home state, but due to my family exposing their true far right leaning values in wake of the protests happening across the country against police brutality and violence and thus exposing their true feelings of our relationship it has caused a huge rift between us and I've barely spoken to them in the past 2 weeks, fearing for my safety.
As such it is imperative that I flee the state to be with my partner as soon as possible so that we can be safe and my family would not have an easy way to reach me and we can have a stable environment to grow our lives together and flourish and I can live free as a trans woman of color in a healthier more accepting environment around peers of the same mind
Over the years since I have grown into both my sexuality and gender identity, I have both directly and indirectly faced homophobic and transphobic violence; whether it be my brother pinning me to a wall by my neck and forcing me to remove freshly painted nails the second I came home, or sitting there in agony as my entire family ridiculed a trans womans deep voice, my family has repeatedly proven their bigotry and that living here will never be a safe environment for me no matter how hard I try.
And albeit I currently have physical safety in the form of shelter and food, it is without a doubt conditional and I have just been delaying the inevitable for years by forcing myself to stay hidden at all costs, wearing down on my mental state to the point of desperation.
Both my partner and I were put out of work due to COVID, as such we presently have limited savings and no income to facilitate our move and are desperately seeking any form of help as we can no longer keep enduring our current respective living environments, mine for the continued abuse and my partner for their health concerns due to being immunocompromised as no one in the house they're currently living in is practicing safe social distancing and general covid guidelines.
For our immediate needs to facilitate travel and lodging expenses, we have calculated that at least $2900 would be required to cover the cost of my plane ticket, airbnb required to self isolate for 2 weeks and the food I would need to eat in that time.

Hello everyone. Here's a little update with what's been going on with my life. I recently flew to Florida for some clarity. Yes, I know corona virus I took huge measures to assure that I will be protected from Covid-19. As planned I was coming to clear my mind for 2 weeks with members of my chosen family. I contacted my biological mom to let her know I will be in Florida the same time as her so I can meet up with my bio family so I can update them about my transition, my name and pronouns. Then sadly a death in my bio family occurred so I ended driving with my gay (chosen) family members for 3 hours to get to my family. As usual my mom is stuck in her old school mindset when it comes to being a woman. She's mildly transphobic, very fatphobic which is internalized, and internalized misogynistic. Which made me cry myself to sleep. She rubbing in my face how im over my grandpa's house for free and she threaten to turn off my phone. So I rather just get a new phone so I don't have to worry about her threatening me. I don't want to worry about her harassing me or anything. I want to be fully independent 💗
I assure y'all I am masked up, I use hand sanitizer, I social distance and wash my hands a lot.
I am hoping if it's not too much to ask if everyone who can ever so nicely donate funds for me to get a phone so I can be stress free.

“Hello, my name is Sharlene Pike and I am a black transgender person originating from South Africa and working as a receptionist/host. I moved to the United States 4 years ago alone and without any support, as my parents died in my home country when I was 18. Being a transgender black female immigrant places three discrimination barriers and makes it extremely hard to socialize and find a job to live properly. Nevertheless, I tried my best. I had been working at 7 different companies as a receptionist/host/waitress for these four years, but 2 months ago I lost my job. The reasoning I was given - ‘staff reduction due to COVID-19 complications’. I have been unemployed for these 2 months, but the reason I can’t start a new job is not COVID-19. In February, I was diagnosed with stage-3 esophageal cancer. I had no prior knowledge of my diagnosis as this type of cancer can be quite concealed, and I had only two or three weeks of eating discomfort before I had a medical consultation. The company I was working at had a special program to support staff members who need expensive surgeries or therapies, and I believe my diagnosis was the true reason I was reduced, since it happened just after I told my office I might need an extended medical leave. The sum I have spent on the medical procedures only to clarify the future treatment equals my 3 salaries. The sum I’m asking for is actually covering first 6 months of treatment and the cheapest drug - basically simply to have a chance to survive. I have no health insurance and I can’t take a new job because my health condition significantly deteriorated. The thing that I have learnt throughout these months is that it is very hard to get any, even basic medical help if you are transgender. The death rate of the esophageal cancer is about 30%, which is very high, and I ask you to help me to have a chance to survive. I tried to deal with everything without anyone by my side, but current circumstances left me with no choice but to ask you to donate and share my story. Thank you very much.”
