“I have this annoying habit around Christmas time that whenever I hear people I know talk about the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, I instantly go “You ever heard of Savatage?"“
Just watched Trans Siberian Orchestra: Ghosts of Christmas Eve on Alabama Public Channel
This was my favorite picture from the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert the other day in Sacramento

Another year, another great performance!
like days ago.. sorry I been slacking 😴
My eyes are so red & swollen from crying for the past 14 hours, my head is pounding, and all I want to do is sleep… But every time I close my eyes, your face is all I can see. As I sit in silence, your laugh echos in my head. My mind plays back all the late nights we spent together, the laughs we shared, the heart to heart conversations that seemed to come out of nowhere, the beauty that was your smile, and everything else that made you the amazing soul that you were 😢
I will never forget everything we did together over the last 13 years, your constant support of my dreams, and all you taught me. My life was brighter with you in it and I will carry you with me every day for the rest of my life. I want to kick and scream at the universe for taking you from us, but I also thank it for letting us have you for 36 years. I want to avoid all social media because your face is everywhere, yet I can’t stop reading everyone’s stories about how you touched their lives. You are so incredibly loved David ❤️
Heartbreaking News
TSO’s amazing east coast bass player, David Z, passed away after being in a major car accident today.
https://demonszone.com/2017/07/15/david-zablidowsky-adrenaline-mob-killed-car-crash/
I still can’t believe it’s real, he was always someone I looked forward to seeing both during and after the TSO shows. He was so fun to watch on stage and incredibly friendly to the fans in the signing line afterwards. Thoughts and prayers to his beloved family, fiancé, and the several band members he performed with.
Rest in Peace David Z. Gone way too soon.
30 May 2017 Statement From the Family Paul’s family has been inspired and thankful for the outpouring of support, well-wishes, and prayers, and we thank you for your ongoing respect for their personal privacy. At this time they would like to share a few more details about the passing of Paul O'Neill: The Hillsborough, Florida medical examiner's office has determined the official cause of Paul O’Neill’s death as accidental, resulting from an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications to treat his numerous chronic illnesses (including bone augmentation surgery, complications from spinal fusion surgery, heart disease, and hypertension). http://www.trans-siberian.com/news/title/statement-from-the-family/
In Loving Memory of Paul O'Neill
Dear TSO Fans,
Paul O’Neill, who turned Trans-Siberian Orchestra into a source of beloved tradition and timeless stories, as well as a multimillion-dollar enterprise, passed away at the age of 60 after fighting chronic illness. Always wanting to lead from the front, he kept his health issues private.
News like a kick in the chest …Rest in Peace Paul. Your music brought joy to millions. Thank you.

“I’ve always believed that music has the power to transport and transform,” O'Neill explained. “The original concept of Trans-Siberian Orchestra was how to make music have the most emotional impact. We always try to write melodies that are so infectious they don’t need lyrics and lyrics so poetic that they don’t need a melody, but when you combine the two together they create an alloy where the sum of the parts is greater than the whole. Once those songs are woven together into a tapestry they create a story which gives each song a third dimension. That was so much in the spirit of Trans-Siberian Orchestra This is a group – a constantly morphing group – of extremely creative and talented individuals who are always trying to raise the bar of where a band can take its audience sonically, visually and emotionally. With that as our core ideal, the possibilities are endless.” - Paul O’Neill
Today we lost a legend
“The entire Trans-Siberian Orchestra family, past and present, is heartbroken to share the devastating news that Paul O’Neill has passed away from chronic illness.” -TSO Official Facebook Page

While I’ve never felt true devastation from hearing about the loss of someone I never met, the news of Paul O'Neill’s death had me sobbing on my kitchen floor. His music has not only helped me through my darkest times, but also given my life purpose by inspiring my passion. I was hoping there would be a day that I could tell him that and thank him for all joy his music has brought me.
~ Rest In Peace Paul O'Neill ~ When he asks Fate what is to happen next, she gently tells him that it is time for him to rest, for tonight he will dream a new dream within the gates of paradise. And as the words weave their way into his soul, Beethoven lies down on the couch near his piano and begins a new dream.
