I can’t stop thinking about the parallels between Juno refusing to leave Hyperion City and Ben refusing to leave their mom. In Monster’s Reflection, Juno comes to the realization that Ben refused to leave because he couldn’t stop seeing the good in her. That was Juno and his city. No matter how many awful things that he saw, there was still good, there was still the opportunity to do good, and he couldn’t let that go. And, just like Ben, it was going to eventually kill him. I think Juno knew that, too. And I’m so happy that Monster’s Reflection taught him that he can see the good in something or someone and still leave it behind if it is what is best for him.
