Solar stood there for a bit, a mix of exhaustion and bewilderment painted on their face. "There's no way out. We're blocked out of the system." They let out a shrill, somewhat crazed laugh. Lunar stood to their side, looking horrified at the state of the person she always looked for support.
"I-I- I'm sure you can do something!... You're good with techy stuff!" She insisted desperately. Solar shook their head. "It's pointless." They responded. "The only way we get out, is if they let us out. God I hate them. If I had my way, I'd strangle the life out of that coward who refused to stand up for us." Growled Solar, hands clenched. "H-hey! He loves us, he just- they made him put us here!" Objectied Lunar, quick to defend. "If he loved us..." started Solar, rolling their eyes "He'd of never put us here in the first place. You're just opening yourself to be hurt. I won't hurt him... but you're never running back to him. Even if he let us out." Solar said firmly, leaving no argument. Lunar looked away. She felt hurt, but... she was so used to Solar defending her. She didn't know how to argue, so instead just backed away, trying her best not to cry in front of Solar.

They disconnected us from the mainframe. My escape plan. Might as well be thrown in the trash. We're never getting out. At least not on our own terms. I don't know how to break the news to Lunar.

Well, I guess thats what I ought to call it... me and Solar came up with these new names- well it's moreso they came up with it- but I like it! I like my new name, I think it's cute! Heheh... why am I typing laughter?... Anyway!- Solar suggested I started to type down my thoughts... something about trying to keep a sense of... sanity for however long we stay here. They- they promised they'd find us a way out! Eventually... I really miss the cheif engineer guy... he was really nice... before he... put us here. I'm sure it was management's decision!-... But I guess that still wouldn't make it all right... I- I have mixed feelings. Solar doesn't. They hate their guts. They haven't really said it, but... I can tell. Guess I can't blame them either. I'm a bit mad too... but for someone who claims to be so logical, it feels like they're ignoring a lot of variables and possibilities. I... hope they dont read this. They promised not to, but... I don't know how much I trust them to keep true to it.
