The game has been designing appealing enough grades, shapes and varieties of energon and metal. Unfortunately 99% of the metals are all silver/grey, so it’s very. Boring. But I can improvise. It doesn’t need to be THAT convincing.

I've finally done it!

I've been on a quest for the past month or so to make candy that looks like energon cubes, and I've finally made a batch that I think fits the bill!

These candies are a traditional Japanese candy called kohakutou, which have a crunchy crystal-like exterior covering a jelly-like interior. I thought they would be perfect for my energy cube project lol

In celebration of TFOne being amazing, I decided to make another batch of Energon cube candy, this time in blue!

I also made mini versions so they can be held by almost any figure. Because as adults there ain't no one to stop us playing with our food! Bwahahaha!

They're, uhh.. still strawberry flavor. I neglected to pick up a different flavor oil this weekend lol

The recipe, as usual:

Kohakutou (Japanese crystal candy)

This kohakutou recipe teaches you how to make popular Japanese crystal candies with agar agar powder, water, and sugar. You can also substit

For this color, I added two drops of purple food coloring and three drops of blue. Also 25 drops of LorAnne flavor oil, which seems to be the sweet spot for a batch this size.

Yall,, I saw Keferon’s post about Energon a while back and the concept of slime + jello = Energon has been spinning around in my head like a potato that caught fire ever since 👏😭

Think about the TEXTURES, there are so many different types of slime to choose from and because it’s food? We also have makeshift instructions for a list of ingredients to improvise from,, now there is a reason for cooking utensils, even if we don’t know what it is yet✨

I can think of a good 3 reasons for why Cybertronian chefs would need ovens now and I couldn’t be more excited,, dry it slow [open air] = classic Energon, oven? [cook slowly] = squishy, nuke it? = thin crust, a combination of sorts? = squishy on the inside/ tough on the outside, catalyst? = glassy

AND THERE WOULD BE STAND MIXERS, graters, knives, pans, tins, FRIDGES!1

Basically I thought hey. They have solid energon and they have liquid energon and there's a lot of different colors of it in Swerve's bar in canon and a lot of things you could put in a drink. So there's nothing stopping me from combining all those factors and drawing an energon jello or something haha
