okay another confession. as much as frerard is fun like i love frerard fic more than anyone okay but BUT i do think it IS just... a fun time. with little bearing on reality. whereas pete wentz was in love with patrick like for true and real.

i think frerad's stage gay thing was mostly about you know. the nature of emo and also what three cheers was about. even the 'lie to me' thing, you know? but with peterick its like. pete genuinely just fell in love with that guy. like frank/gerard's thing of making out on stage, spitting on each other, etc was kind of in the vein of rocky horror to me like it just worked with three cheers really well. but i think its interesting there was next to no stage gay for danger days bc thats not really what danger days is about. also somehow. even though frank/gerard are open-mouthed-making-out on stage petes thing of leaning up against patrick DID just seem. more genuine rather than a stage gay moment. like you can tell frank/gerard are playing it up FOR stage gay value which is fine its cool its fun but with pete idk i dont think it was JUST stage gay to him.
