I’m logged onto tumblr at 3am to let y’all know I placed an order for Atassa #2 for the infoshop. also an order from Trilateral (yale, harvard, MIT) for some Bataille and semiotexte is in the mail. and I placed an order to W.W. Norton for some basic shit but I have a special book in there for valentine’s day.

anyways books are fucking great, I have vegan ice cream and I found my 3DS

It really helps to have an irl community, I know alot of yall can’t get one because of where you are or like have your own reasons for not having one/being in one, but nothing has helped me more than my friends/community. Having an infoshop to throw my effort into has really helped my mental health. I can’t put it into words how much its helped me out. and i’m trying to stay on this positive wave and this place just makes me sad (for lack of a better word to describe “avoiding my problems and refusing personal struggle of improvement”). 

anyways I love my friends, I love The Big Idea infoshop, I love my friends from other infoshops, I love how much more productive doing shit irl is than discourse here, I love being sober, I finally love myself and what i’m doing

I don’t have much desire to come on here anymore and really its best if I don’t. probably not gonna delete my account but I deleted the app off my phone. I’m doing really well, I’m in love, I start my new line cook job tomorrow, I’ve got a loving community, I have my own room once again, and I’ve been sober for almost four months. 113 days today.

Sometimes I like to come back on here to post about how well i’m doing and what i’m doing (like my new job, and whats going on at the infoshop). and really nothing much is new besides I had a great time in Boston. Got to meet @kropotkitten and I got to hang with the folks in Viscera. I survived my first real noreaster storm. I got to add Dark Mountain texts to the infoshop (and they’ll be here in a week), and I picked up a book called Redemption and Utopia: Jewish Libertarian Thought in Central Europe, I’m almost done reading The Savage Peace which is like Tiqqun if they were from Minnesota instead of France.
