U.A was far bigger than he’d anticipated, and though he’d been given clear directions toward the main office, he’d someone managed to get himself entirely lost. a sigh pushed past his lips then, fingers tugging at his tie and eyes glued to the floor below him. it wasn’t until he knocked rather roughly into another figure that he looked up, eyes wide and sweat beading on his forehead. 

“ a-ah ! i’m sorry, that was my fault ... ! ”

“ vivi-san, you’ve got a few crumbs on your nose ... ! ”

it was the bravest gesture he could muster then, taking his handkerchief and wiping away at the mess left on her face. truth be told, he hadn’t exactly thought it through, as shown by the immediate shade of red coloring his cheeks and the panic in his tone. 

“ w-wah ! s-sorry about that, i should have asked if it was ok first ... ! ”

the surprise laced in his tone was more than evident, hands gripping tightly onto his school bag as his head turned curiously. it was rare to see the other in the council room at this hour in the morning, and even more so to see the other awake and doing work. 

“ is everything ok ? n-not that i’m not happy to see you here, but ... you’re usually still sleeping ... ! ”

‘ that looks like a lot of paperwork, though. ’ frown appears upon his features, grabbing one of the sheets that was on top of the whole bunch. ‘ my my… ’ he mutters, clicking his tongue in the process, ‘ you have a lot to do, as it seems, huh… mind if i give you one, two hands? you might be done faster and we can go for a piece of cake or some tea— or both. ’ 

there was almost an immediate panic once the other offered to help, hands scrambling to gather all the papers into his arms. a bead of sweat ran down his cheek then, fingers tapping against the table while his eyes avoided making any sort of contact with the others. 

“ y-you don’t have to help me ... ! it’s far too much work for you, h-harime-san ! please get some cake for yourself, y-you deserve it ! ”

lavender hues never once left the documents on the table in front of him, hands shaking as he continued to write. a small, nervous laugh left his throat in response to the other-- an attempt at being rather casual about it all.
