Hey all, I’ve unfortunately been laid off again. I thought I would be able to get unemployment but I guess I didn’t make enough to be eligible??

We have to find a way to pay rent for May and unfortunately my car battery died two days ago so I can’t even DoorDash to earn some money. I think we maybe have like. $20 left.

I’m supporting myself, Akira and our 3 cats and we won’t really have anywhere to go if we’re evicted. I don’t think we’ll get a notice until next week or so?? Either way we really need some help until I can get another job. Our rent is $885

I started my year unable to work for 2 months because of a medical emergency that came on top of my pre-existing disabilities. I've been able to start working the past few weeks, but I haven't been able to work as many hours as I recover, so my paycheck hasn't been as large as it was. The new health issues have also necessitated an adjustment to my diet to prevent issues with my recovery, meaning new staples I didn't get the chance to stock up on before.
