What most of you are asking - FAQs
You simply go to https://app.transprt.me. Select which neighborhood that you would want to be picked up from. Transprt.Me will then automatically look around for available vehicles in that neighborhood and offer them to you to select.Â
You can easily filter these out by car type, especially if you cannot seem to find what you want quite easily.
Once youâve selected a vehicle please click âGet Carâ button.
We will then ask you for a few contact details. We will then automatically contact your driver. You driver will then contact you by phone to arrange pickup and negotiate price.

How do I contact my driver?
You may want to contact your driver if your pickup location or contact information has changed. You can SMS the word CONTACT to +256 700 261773 or DM the word CONTACT to @transprtme1 via Twitter
The driver will then contact you from the new contact information that you provide.
How do I cancel my request?
The driver will always contact you by phone after you make a request. If you change your mind, you can always just turn them down.
If we realize that you often cancel your requests, we will flag you and sometimes even stop you from using our service again.
How do I get a fare estimate?
We are still working to provide standard estimates for the journeys especially those within Kampala. Currently there is no way of doing this but we will let you know as soon as we have this feature ready.
How do I share my journey on Social Media?
You can always share your trip on Facebook, Google+ and Twitter as soon as you make the request. We provide you with one-click buttons that will let you share your trip.
Can I make a reservation?
Transprt.Me is an on demand service, so there is currently no option to make reservation. You can only order the ride when you need it.
Can I request more than one vehicle?
Yes you can request as many vehicles as you want but not within a single request.Â
Please note that if you request multiple vehicles in a short time and you cancel more than one, you will be flagged.
When you request a vehicle, the driver will contact you. You will then negotiate the fare with the driver. All payments are made directly to the driver.Â
Why is my neighborhood not listed on Transprt.Me?
We are working day and night to have all stages within Kampala and the outskirts listed before the end of March. If your neighborhood is not listed, please know that is the only thing on our mind.
You can always choose a neighborhood nearest to yours.Â
