Okay, I normally don’t make commentary, but this is relevant to me. This is relevant to the reason why I stopped updating this blog. I have been having an increasing problem in the double standards of porn when it comes to men, and the lack of realism. You can see all types of women on tumblr. Short, tall, thick, skinny, white black, in between, blonde, red, brown, everything. and it’s all excepted as good porn of good looking women, as it should be. I am all for the un-photoshopped and un-glamorous sex. Sex is as basic human as you can get next to water, food, air and shelter. At times its ugly by modern standards and that’s what makes it so beautiful, so real.
Men on the other hand are usually stuck in the same category on all mainstream porn. You are either the muscular swimmer with the 9 inch cock or you are the one who’s only physical difference from a girl is their penis. and those are two images that are most portrayed, at least in the porn that I follow. and most men do not fit those images.
What stands out about this comic is it is closer to average realism than anything I’ve seen lately. Granted he’s been working out and doing crunches. But he’s not rocking a hyper-cock. he actually has a realistically sized dick. And it stood out and slapped me across the face because It’s something I almost never see, unless I’m looking in the mirror after a shower. And it’s a breath of fresh air.
I look forward to the time when we get society pass it’s prude superstitions and its obsession with artificially processed aesthetics and bring our interests back to reality, where all the real fun is.
Just wanted to reblog this because I really appreciated what you had to say about my work! I try to include a variety of different people in my art because everyone is beautiful and deserves to be represented. I'm really touched when someone can look at my art and identify with what they see, and I hope to keep working to reach out to more people.
