Scott catches him in his office, taking a five minute breather to drink some water— something’s wrong with the cooling in the primary Medbay and it’s uncomfortably warm. “Eval?” Leonard asks after the water is down, head tilting. “Aw, Scott, you’re s’posed to be fixin’ my Medbay, not here for a goddamn checkup.”

“Wh-"He said as he felt someone hit his leg. He jolted awake with a couple snorts….He then saw Bones clear enough…Oh shit...He’d not gotten to his last two or so evals with the doc. And there was good reason for it to. He hated ….doctors! He then heard him fixing some bio-beds… "Um…Lad…I am an warp specialist..I not one of em….maintenance people”

Starting anew || Prim

He gave him a frown. “Fine. But you bloody better not leave with out me. Or I be havin your head “Scotty half teased as he was tired. The nurse came in looking to Jim. “He should rest sir. Can I get you something to eat ?”she asked. “You are welcome. To stay. Just no more questions right now. “She said. Next thing she knew she looked up seeing Scotty snoring and sound asleep. “Between you and me he isn’t the easiest of people to attend to. “He added.

Jim chuckled and nodded looking at the man in the bed. He looked exhausted, everyone was exhausted. It was a rough time for the moment. They would pull through. They always did. Jim shook his head at the nurse smiling when Scotty was passed out sleeping soundly. “Oh yeah. I’ll be back, comm me when he gets up.” He told the nurse patting Scotty’s leg before exiting the room for the time being.

Two weeks pass and he is back on the ship. It was nice to be back. Going up the elevator He waited till it went open to the bridge and when it opened he smiled seeing kirk on his chair. “Reporting to duty”he said as eh technically left the hospital against medical advice, but he had enough of the damn hospital.  He needed to get back to his warp core, ad away from that damn nurse that was starting to drive him insane.
