made a tier list of my fav characters bc i was bored. I couldn’t get the whole thing to fit into one picture since it didn’t appear in my downloads for some reason…? and taking a screenshot couldn’t capture the whole thing so it’s in 3 pics but whatever

anyways it’s pretty self explanatory for the most part lol. steve is my fav and the best, and the party members below are the same (they’re just not Steve lol).

for will i was always kinda riding the line of neutral and dislike for him…? not bc of anything he did really but ?? idk he just never captured my interest. at least not until i just watched s5 and he got powers lol. idk if that’s what made him like a thousand times more interesting to me or what but after that i like him so much more than i ever did. one good thing about s5 lmao

as for nancy, kinda the opposite happened…before i watched s5 i did a full show rewatch and it just kinda hit me how shitty she could be as a character. i wanna like her, I really do, but man…

and eddie…from my first ever watch through of s4, it was obvious since the scene with chrissy that those two were dead. the death flags were literally everywhere like bob lol so i knew what was coming but he also just…kinda annoyed me? like majorly LMAO. the second time around he was more bearable but also I think fanfics helped with that lol. not that i even ship eddiesteve (actually seeing so much of that on ao3 the first time caught me so off guard tbh? like i get why after thinking about it but still) but i think that helped my tolerance of him lol. but tbh he wasn’t even there all that much during s4 anyways so it didn’t make too much of a difference either way

the parents. the stuff with the wheelers in s5 was interesting and i wish we’d gotten to see a bit more of the home lives of some of the other families and how they would’ve reacted if they found out about the upside down

there was so much potential with the numbers and with billy and the mindflayer that just didn’t happen and it highkey pisses me off majorly I don’t even know what to say

tommy, carol, and derek…I didn’t really like any of them but given their relationships with steve there is So much potential there for steve things that they get their own category lol (no, im not over the steve & derek hug and steve coaching his baseball team, actually)

the rest is obvious. im pretty neutral on most everyone aside from those already mentioned and those who i Majorly Dislike in that bottom category lmao

kinda wanna do a ship one next but it’s hard finding a good pre-made tierlist for that…but i think im gonna use the last one i looked at

but literally the day after i posted that the fam did a stranger things watch since some of them haven’t seen it and i hadn’t seen s5

long story short im back on my steve harrington bullshit he is Consuming my brain (again)

personally don’t have as many like, writing thoughts or anything that for him like i did with finral but i might post like a tierlist or two. i like making those…

i already posted my s5 live-blogging commentary on bsky but i could cross post them here if i felt like it ig

but chances are those things i had wanted to write will Not be written (at least for a long time) since finral thoughts have faded to the outskirts of my brain…sorry to disappoint

this feels so final typing it out but actually i lowkey forgot about the anime so while the manga is technically ended, this hyperfixation could resurge once s2 comes out?

my hyperfixations for most things never truly leave but i rarely feel motivated by them again unless i go through a rewatch or something of some sort. though im not one to rewatch things much…

plus i felt crazy trying to get myself motivated to try and write something, and I don’t think I’ve ever actually had so many thoughts when it comes to a piece of media like I have with finral? so I would like to try and do something with all that one day. just don’t think it’ll be any time soon since it’s not the first thing on my mind anymore lol is all

but yeah…with my working all the time (literally. literally all the time) its just been so nice to actually have a bunch of new fics to just sink into yk? not that I hadn’t loved the black clover ones I’d been rereading, but tbh for the most part it’s felt very dead for the most part on ao3, this fandom. which I get, but it’s just been nice unwinding with something new after a long day, rather than read the same old thing or stress about making my own thing.

but one day…perhaps when s2 rolls around I’ll get around again to thinking of finral ideas and write something about it. october i think of this year is when it comes out so…

/ black clover manga spoilers

so i knew we were getting to the end but that felt pretty abrupt to me, even if perhaps it shouldn’t have but whatever

lowkey we all knew what was gonna happen but it still all seemed resolved so quickly

and man it was kinda ship central there too…

obviously the best part of all the recent chapters was the finfin reveal🥹 (possible) girldad finral is real…

but I’ll be honest lowkey the funniest fucking thing about the ending is that asta/noelle was never confirmed that’s hilarious

noelle is nowhere near among my fav bc chars but it was getting crazy annoying seeing ppl everywhere be obsessed over her and asta even though he’s never given even an inkling of interest in her that way.

and if they’d been together in the end here it would’ve just felt so…perhaps not out of left field since half of her character is just her crush on asta, but moreso just…artificial i guess?

kinda like how they hinted at mereoleona and that one land of the sun guy (i don’t remember any of their names except ryu & ichika tbh im sorry the start of the spade arc was just a whole big downfall and sadly land of the sun arc was swept up in it).

like pure crack ship that was slapped together at the end just because. not that asta and noelle wouldn’t have had more development considering their friendship throughout the whole series, but with it being literally one sided throughout every single second, it would just feel the same to me, slapped together at the end just because.

but also speaking of ships, good fucking lord how and WHY did charmy and rill have like 18 kids what the fuck ??

but anyways who cares about that!! look at the few panels of my darling finral😌 though does it look like in the coloured panel that there’s less green in finral’s hair than usual? 😕

one thing i think about constantly is the fact that when langris injures finral in the royal knights exam, it looks a hell of a lot like finral’s right ear was destroyed

and in the anime at least (i can’t remember about the manga…i’ll have to try and look it up to see) they mentioned specifically that recovery magic cannot bring back limbs. and while the ear isn’t a limb like an arm/leg, it just makes me wonder of the limits of certain recovery magics🤔

iirc multiple recovery mages were needed to get him out of critical condition, so i’m guessing they each focused their magic on one major aspect that needed healing🤔 like owen focused on his head/brain, someone else focused on his organs, another on his arms, etc

but like if it’s not an arm or a leg, they must be able to regrow/reform body parts right? otherwise finral would be down at least one ear and whatever organs were destroyed by langris’s magic

anyways lol this is a ramble-y way to say what if they couldn’t and finral stayed in a coma in critical condition for much longer than he did and needed more care afterwards to deal with these new lifelong injuries🙂‍↕️

anyways i think fuegoleon is not only the best but also the top pick for newest wizard king. sure theres nozel and ofc asta and yuno too but for one, yuno is likely going to go to spade to take over there since he’s royalty, and asta…well, both him and asta i don’t think are ready to be wizard king yet tbh, despite all that they’ve done. let them grow a little more

and then when later down the line fuego inevitably passes or steps down, then it will be asta.

as for the clover kingdom royalty, i do think they’ll kill off augustus at some point lol. idk why people think noelle will become queen…? ig it’s bc people think she’ll get together with asta and then want them to be on like…”equal standing” i suppose? that’s my guess anyways lol

personally idc about them as a ship whatsoever (not even bc i prefer mimosa in every way over noelle lmao not just ship wise but also ship wise so) but most likely tabata is going to have some sort of short panel of them at the very end like holding hands or something implying they get together, if he doesn’t just do a few years time skip to show them together as a major cop out for how one sided the ship is. i think they’re better off as friends but oh well I’ve never gotten the hype with asta ships (except asta/yuno. asta/yuno > every other asta ship) sjdjdjd anyways

nozel as clover king makes a little more sense, but tbh i think it would be finnes that would take over as queen. since she and finral will be married, he would then become prince consort and end up as the clover kingdom’s newest king. which he probably wouldn’t totally want sjdjdjdj but i think they’d do a lot of good together, especially with their friendships with lolo, yuno, fuego, mars, etc. all contributing to the betterment of the kingdoms

unless of course they introduced more of the clover royalty last minute, since she’s technically only his grand niece?? which would kinda feel like a cop out but that’s neither here nor there lol. there’s always damnatio too ig but tbh idk if I can see him wanting that position🤔I feel like he’s content where he is lol
