Morning Routine

Morning came and as always, Malaysia was up by 5:30, moving through her routine. Showering, getting dressed, etc. before heading to the kitchen. She moved fast, brewing coffee as she grabbed Benjamin’s cereal.

By 6:15, she was nudging him awake, giving him just enough time to eat before they had to leave.

Andrei was still in bed, the house quiet except for the occasional clatter of dishes. Malaysia didn’t wake him. Instead, she slipped out the door with Benjamin.
