Dear Friends,
it’s been a while since we saw each other in theatre. On Animals tour closed 2019 with a lot of hope about our upcoming projects. Blazing World set new directions for our research and opened new fields of social subjects we wanted to discuss. We were ready for 2020, another production, another festivals, another great meetings with audience. But then... everything collapsed. Our lives became restricted, narrowed to four walls and social distancing. Theatres were closed in the first place, still waiting to re-open. Theatre makers received clear message from authorities all over Europe: we’re useless for them, especially in the times of crisis.
We don’t consume. We try to think. We try to have a proper dialogue. We try to connect. We offer and demand change. Our language is based on love and compassion. Our images are dangerous. Our presence is unwanted.
It’s unclear, if we’re another group, of another dogs of Europe. What matters, is that we’re thrown away on the garbage pile, where all the misfits & other beautiful creatures are. We’re trash. We produce trash. We upload trash. Trash begets trash, and ‘oh boy’ we’re ready to reply! Let us rise from this pile and let’s show to them, who are afraid, what they’re trying to avoid in their well-built life of secureness. Let’s drag them through years of abandonment. Let’s take their heads and point their eyes on what they are so much afraid of. Let’s fight for culture, as it’s fully drown in need of prosperity, consuming and constant progress. Let’s fight for Trash Culture!
We’re beginning new process, which will lead us to three-part piece AFTER EARTH (1. War and Race; 2. Maggots; 3. New Order) - if you want to participate by any means (performing, supporting, presenting, co-producing) just let us know: [email protected] so we can provide you with more details and possible ways of giving birth to our most ambitious project yet!
Stay safe, stay healthy.
Fight for Trash!
