i just finished chapter 14 of the deliverance of change and holy shit!!!!!!!! to be honest donna wasn’t even on my radar of characters before this fic but now i am frantically trying to find any bit of beneviento merch i can

you mention in the chapter notes of fourteen that you’ve had a planned cause and effect map for the story, and that is so so clear. nothing in the fic has ever made me confused because ‘where did that come from?’ the little bits of foreshadowing and hints and setup all build perfectly! even from small details like how there is no resentment towards andrei and then when he does appear he is the sweetest guy, or how there is a noticeable shift in the blatantness of the villagers hatred towards the courier before and after the red x.

i think i sent an ask before where i commented on your character writing, but i neeed to reiterate that it is some of the best i’ve ever read. not only in that the characters are all very accurate to their canon depictions, but also in that the formation of their relationships feels natural.

i hope you’re doing well, and that you continue this amazing fic!!

I just finished chapter 14 of your fic on AO3. HOLY SHIT ITS ACTUALLY SO GOOD. Highkey some of the best characterization of Donna I’ve read (maybe I’m biased because I’m weak for shy and easily flustered Donna) but it’s actually so peak. Gremlin Angie is real and I love her. All in all, genuinely one of the best fics I’ve read. We all love yuri

But if not for kneeling, why kneeling shaped? I think I've painted him pining and yearning, but I really wanted to paint him somewhat at peace with the final decisions, even a tad bit satisfied? and with self-acceptance, because ultimately he is a man who does kneel. (in my head canon anyways) I've also painted him kneeling here. Possible missed detail after the jump~

His eyes are actually open. This piece is inspired by JC Leyendecker's "New Rochelle" piece, I have a few more rookanis leyendecker studies comin~ Also if you want a brilliant fic where Lucanis does end up kneeling and dramatically so, @rookanis-de-riva has finished there amazing indulgent fic for me. The first chapter is sfw, and then it just goes wildly nsfw so mind the tags.
