we need a pair of total drama characters who coincidentally look exactly the same but act like total opposites. almost everyone thinks they're twins but they have no idea who the other is and just happened to meet their doppelgänger by chance

people also mix their names up frequently (they both have completely different names) and it results in one of them being voted off because the other threw a challenge

🧠 favourite headcanon?

i already gave a headcanon in this answer, but i’ll take this opportunity to list some more of my big ones!! :D

fred and velma are autistic, daphne and shaggy have adhd

daphne and shaggy are childhood friends, fred and velma became friends in middle school. they became a group of four in high school

scooby is shaggy’s service dog

fred and daphne are t4t and frequently give each other their old clothes from before they transitioned

shaggy is a film buff and particularly enjoys b-movies, gimmick horror and stop motion animation

velma prefers fantasy/fictional horror like gothic novels to true crime, but she enjoys both

fred throws himself into danger to protect his friends often and thus gets physically harmed, after which the gang will sit him down with the first aid kit and tenderly patch up his wounds while calling him an idiot in an exasperated tone of voice

daphne has a keen eye for interior design and knows a lot of associated skills like painting and using power tools

the gang all have some sort of food allergy/dietary restriction, so shaggy makes them all their own packed lunches that adhere to this while they’re on the road

fred isn’t a natural blonde, he bleached his hair in order to dye it a different colour but decided that he liked it as it is and then it became his default look

this is all i can think of for now because it’s almost 1am but they’re besties and care for each other so deeply and i love them <3

Velma by Me!

A question for the Desi Scooby Fans

Hi guys! In my quest to rewrite the horror show that was HBO Velma, I decide to also redesign the characters, making some changes, mostly to their wardrobe, sometimes to their appearance. I will be keeping the changes in ethnicities while adding accordingly to the demands (my demands. I’m the one demanding) like making Shaggy Afro-Brazilian.

Now this brings me to my current query:

Is this design correct for Velma

I wanted to bring more influence from India into her design, but I’m also not Desi myself (I’m Brazilian) and India is a very big place with vastly different habits and traditions depending on where you are. Being half American would also add in ways I can’t even fathom.

If you guys could send me information (or direct me to somewhere where I can learn more) about how a Desi-American Lesbian girl would act, dress in her day to day, also reliable information about what religion she would practice and how it all would shape how she sees, interprets and interacts with the world I would be eternally grateful
