She of course, had her own reasons, reasons that nobody but she and two other people could know. And those two could not spread it- One, for it pertained to him, and the other, because he knew he would die as soon as he let any word of it escape.

She doesn’t think it’s a joke. But of course, he does not understand her reasons behind it. And that is a secret she shall never reveal to the likes of him.

He could not possibly understand why someone like her, a high noble in the Progenitor Council that ruled over a country could possibly want to delve into something that could get her killed.

But there was a thrill in it, wasn’t there? The secret, the constant possibility of being caught-

She looked at him, eyes narrowing. Was he questioning her decision? Was he somehow suggesting that her choice was wrong? An unamused expression crossed her face, as she stared down at him with obvious bitterness.

“I do not think being converted into a superior species is what should be considered a punishment- Unless perhaps, you’re suggesting that being a human is better than being a vampire-?”

What an idiot. And he thought he was better than her. This is why she detested him.

“I wouldn’t know- I’ve never been able to look past your overly inflated ego to see us working together-”

Karr didn’t believe in humans becoming vamps. Simple as that, he felt like it was a slap in the face to pure bloods such as himself, and Krul. With a deep breath, he relaxed his stance, a grin, before listening closely to her responses. ❝ You simply need to understand that, we are quite strong, however I haven’t needed to fight yet.❞

the hot breath that trickled her skin was more scary then she would imagine, or even had pictured before. when he spoke to her, it felt as if her skin was crawling with BUGS under the surface. her impulse at the current moment was to stab him through. but honestly she didn’t know his skill level. ❝ I know when my skill… Doesn’t… meet up to par with my… Enemies. I’m not an idiot. ❞ as she spoke she forced the words to slide out of her mouth with hesitation and sharp intakes of breath. it already felt like she was breathing in glass. ❝ I will say I must’ve taken a misstep… When trying to run… ❞ CLEARLY misstep was an understatement. placing her hand on the handle of her weapon; she ended up tightening her grasp which caused her knuckles to turn white as her jaw clenched.

A small hand trailed down her side before wrapping around her hand, which was gripping the weapon. He wasn’t afraid of anything. Being of his rank, and on the same, or above Krul made him extremely strong, and now, he had the upper hand by catching her off guard ❝ You know.. I could let you run, get a head start, or kill you now.~ ❞

the factor that she SOMEHOW managed to get herself in this position… personally shocked her. what was worst then being shocked however? WELL SHE WAS OBVIOUSLY SHAKING. she of A L L people couldn’t face a noble alone. she was dead meat. the members that she had OBVIOUSLY tagged along with were now clearly dead. OR tormented. Oh dear. what was she suppose to do?

Karr approached the other, only to appear behind the female and cup her cheek from behind. The hot breath of the vampire on her neck as he leaned down near her flesh, she seemed to in shock to react, so he wanted to ‘play with her’ a bit ❝ Or.. Are you just too afraid to act on impulse? ❞

Was Haruhi reassured? Not even in the slightest, but it was probably better not to panic in front of this guy. At his remark about the tea and food, she glanced down at his tea cup and saw he was out of tea. Some of the food had obviously been consumed.

“Oh, I apologize. I’ll get it.”

Haruhi poured him another cup of tea and grabbed some pastries from a trolly filled with food. She set it down on the table and returned to her seat.

“May I ask, how different are our worlds? Is it really that different that things that happen there won’t affect here?”

Hopefully that would be a start for the other, now that he had started drinking the tea, and taking a few bites of the pastries Karr leaned back, a hand on his flat stomach, calming down now With a smile, which was rare, Karr replied ❝ Tell me, what is it that interests you most in life? if this did happen? Would you be alright? Can you fight to survive? However--I do believe that this world is safe. ❞

That sounded horrible, though Haruhi did not voice her thoughts. She had a feeling it would offend the male. So, he came from the future. That surprised her. She honestly expected that he’d be from the past; but perhaps that was because every vampire book she read portrayed vampires coming from a medieval era.

“Twenty twelve is in six years…”

And suddenly Haruhi felt fear; she had never been the type to fear the future, but now that she knew what was to come, she couldn’t help it. This war between humans and vampires was sooner than she expected.

“Well, humans right now don’t really believe in vampires, so I guess that’s why humans are the respected lot.”

More importantly, the vampires from his area didn’t plan on invading other ‘worlds’. Karr simply felt as if maybe she was safe, but why did he care? Or maybe it was his interest in the humans here. ❝ I think the Only thing you have to worry about, Haruhi Is a lack of tea, and food. ❞
